Apple’s iBooks has uploaded a brief three page preview of IDW’s Transformers Regeneration 1 94. With the war for Cybertron heating up, the Autobots have to deal with trouble on all fronts – including a showdown between arch-rivals Galvatron and Ultra Magnus! This is one thing that Ultra Magnus has no choice but to deal with right now!
Check out the preview after the break.

I smell ReGeneration 2 coming up. Hasbro senses tingling.

I agree Furman has been pretty inconsistant, but I see your logic in making a case for it. Thanks for providing the additional background, I dont remember much about Marvel after issue 50 (when I was collecting them more than actually reading them).

I assume it's a given that Omega was among the guys who left the Ark in issue 75; possibly in between 75 and when Starscream/Shockwave stole the ship.

Furman's been pretty inconsistent about this. I'm not sure how he GETS Omega Supreme to Cybertron, given what we can likely assume from what has been shown outright….
There is a possible out. That Omega was one of the Nucleon-revived Autobots that left the Ark during its short trip to Cybertron in issue #75. We just never saw him on panel.
That said, Omega Supreme REALLY should have factored more in the Unicron battle if he was around to be fighting it….

Wow, I didn't think we would see Omega Supreme in this comic (thought he was still dead from the underbase saga?) Of course I hope it just isn't one of those cool covers that has nothing to do with the contents of the book itself…
General Tekno
I'm pretty sure that Galvatron reviving the INSTANT Megatron died has significance that hasn't been revealed yet.
It seemed too deliberate.

Now I wish Guido had done the art from the beginning… I hope he gives Blaster his shades back.

When is this hitting the comic shops?

I spoke a bit too hastily. While I don't really count the Fort Max incident (it was just after Ark-crash, and by all indications he's recovered from that bit… although I still see no reason WHY he should have revived at that particular moment), everything else is well documented, and indeed Galvatron tried to kill Megatron precisely because he blamed Megatron for the insanity he knew was within himself.
I was caught by the fact that he's always acted so… rational… at least as Galvatrons go… for the bulk of his US run.
Omnus
This Galvatron was originally quite insane. In his universe, he was on the verge of conquering Earth (since Unicron ate Cybertron) and yet he still acted rather vexed in his (rather one-sided) conversation with Rodimus Prime's corpse. He was killing his own soldiers since he had no one else to take out his insane frustrations upon. He only regained most of his sanity after being brought into the current universe. He started to seriously lose it again after coming face-to-face with the revived Megatron aboard the Ark. Being shot in the back by Fort Max didn't help much either.
G.B. Blackrock
But, shouldn't THIS Galvatron… NOT be insane?
Anguirus
"Again with the again. Is he insane?"
Loving the monologue.

Man oh man, that was actually pretty Awesome. I'm no professional when it comes to what makes good art, but I think Guidi gives this book the kick it needed. Great stuff, and I'm now actually looking forward to the Magnus vs Galvatron fight.
The past 2 issues have been much better, with 93 actually being pretty great. It's still no excuse for the 11 issues of trash, but I think I'll stick with this book after all.

Love Guidi's art and the action is nice! I'm glad I didn't drop the book because I've enjoyed the past few issues after its slow start.
