Comic Book Resources have posted a preview of this Wednesday's new issue of Transformers Regeneration 1. Issue #82 picks up right where the shocking final pages of last issue left off - and it also picks up on where several major characters ended up following the end of the original Marvel US Transformers comic series including Grimlock! Be warned there are potential spoilers right from the first page of this preview - check it out if you don't mind being spoiled and left wanting more! Then pick up the new comic this Wednesday at your local comic store!

I love the continuity in what Transformers were left deactivated on Earth.

I don't like that they are all essentially "zombified"... Especially Ratbat. He was a Decepticon leader for crying out loud... Also I like seeing Ratchet again... just not in that condition.

We shouldn't really have to use spoiler tags here, should we? Why would you follow a thread like this if you don't want to read the preview...?

I would be surprised as hell if the "zombified" Transformers didn't eventually regain their facilities somehow, especially considering that Starscream is one of them.

I would love that, but Megatron even said Starscream was different than the others, which opens up the can of worms for him to regain his intelligence.

I hope they all do, though. I love me some Ratbat.

The question is where is Shockwave? He was last seen with Starscream on the ark too.

This will be an interesting question to tackle since they already revealed that Spike will be back as the new incarnation of Circuit Breaker...

It's not like contracted authors have any special powers to avoid writing bad stuff (just look at all the crappy TF stories produced under Hasbro and Takara's banners over the last 30 years).

Also the last page seems to be the setup for the resurrection/return of the Headmasters characters who died in the battle with Unicron, since Furman already said they will come back...

There is no way that Shockwave isn't getting referenced at some point. And I'll be amazed if he teams with Megatron, willingly or unwillingly.
