(Sigh………….Stupid coin.)
Okay, I'm glad to see you've mapped out your end game here which sounds like you're ultimately going to end up reading this upcoming mini despite your overzealous resentment of the author.
(Sigh)……..But to pacify your angst or to prevent giving anyone you think actually cares the satisfaction, you'll rant about how the evil art guy stole your dollar for 12 weeks straight.
The End.

"Try" to make sense? The post was pretty darn simple. I know that was an attempt at a snarky reply that doesn't bother to defend anything, but really it just makes you look foolish. I hope the comic is ignorable because I really didn't like Autocracy or Monstrosity, but both were almost completely ignored by the two main series, therefore I hope this one is ignorable too so I can skip it without missing anything even slightly important to the story. See? Simple.

Livio is one of the few IDW artists I like at all. Half for what he is now, and half for what he might grow into if he keeps learning.
His storytelling needs work still. And his art often prints too dark (although that's as much, if not more, the fault of IDW's production department) which can make things harder to follow than they need to be. And maybe his simplified color palette is not for everyone. But his digital painted style at least presents a sense of atmosphere, which is more than I can say for most of the rest of IDW's TF artistic stable, and puts me in the mind of a good 2000AD artist or something.
I read the Dark Cybertron chapter 2 comic that got packed in with Generations Scoop, and of the mishmash of styles IDW crammed together in the issue, Livio's art was the only stuff that looked halfway decent at all. Maybe some people have an easier time with the other artists' stuff because it's traditionally inked and colored, so it feels more comfortable to them. But holy crap, was it the most bland, hacky art imaginable. Livio's at least looked and felt like Transformers interacting in an alien environment. The other two artists were just… terrible.

What the hell is wrong with Megatron's face?

Okay yeah listen, I can either try to make sense of your replies towards me or watch paint dry but I'm not going to both…so reply to me at your discretion moving forward.

Please keep your bad taste to yourselves, I don't want to catch it.

It's really fucking annoying how they simply don't get that there are some stories that are EPIC just because they sound grand and epic and allow you to use your imagination.
Like the battles of Silmarilion no matter what you do it's NEVER going to be as epic you can imagine it.
Roberts, being a massive Doctor Who fan, CLEARLY wrote that stuff in the similar way how Russel T. Davis wrote the Last Great Time War in Doctor Who where he constantly mentions The Nightmare Child and the Skaro Degradations and the Army of Meanwhiles and Neverweres led by the Could've Been King, and the Horde of Travesties. You can't show that an make it as awesome as it sounds.
Some things just lose their magic when they are shown. Just look at the Clone Wars. It sounded so cool in the Original Trilogy….and the we actually saw it…

Wait, they've said this is the Simanzi Massacre?
Come on, IDW. That battle shouldn't even be fully adapted, part of its mystique is in the "Tell, don't show", let alone adapted by a bad writer and an awful artist. Such disappointment. Are they doing a check-list of things from Rewind's history this series can contradict/make awful? So we've had the assassination of Zeta Prime contradicted, now they're on to Simanzi… I wonder what's next?

Livio's art is rather his and miss but i love his covers!! definitely looking forward to Primacy!
Rung
why are they giving the most epic battle of all time to a guy who can't draw? they should make a whole mini series out of simanzi with Roche at the helm. he knows how to bring epic into pages. just look at the early pages of LSOW, the siege of garrus 9.
anyway, as much as i don't like the writer's stories or livio's sloppy art, i'm going to get it… because, a little quick read is never bad.
Rung
Simanzi… and ramondeli is doing it :/

I don't have a problem with Ramondelli's art and that cover could be a movie poster

While it doesn't have the appeal that MTMTE and RID have, I don't have much in the way of complaints with Autocracy and Monstrosity's story… Livio's work isn't terrible to me, and it's nice to get a background on the war in some form or another.
Particularly nice to see how Metroplex and Trypticon are involved, but more city-sized bots is never gonna be a complaint! ^^
Yggdrasil
As long as RID and MTMTE ignore it's existence like they've been doing so far I'm a-ok with whatever they do.
Not gonna read a single issue this time tough, I've learned my lesson with Monstrocity.

Interlocking 'Primacy' Covers by Livio Ramondelli

Just posted on Instagram by Ramondelli.
Wow, that interlocking cover is breathtaking, I want a poster!!
EDIT: Higher quality picture was posted on Livio's DeviantART

I also agree, but with a bit less "hate". I thought Ramondelli's art in Dark Cybertron was all right.
I did not enjoy Monstrosity or Autocracy. In contrast to MTMTE and RID, the story seems kinda blah.
But, I will buy it and read it. :/
ahchu
I'd rather see a comic based on Animated instead

This is the one thing I desperately wish they would steer a billion miles clear of. "Clumsy" is the perfect word for it. "Needless" would be another. We are a good 15-20 years beyond the point the fandom appreciates that kind of stuff anymore, even when it's not clumsily done.
But I enjoyed the first two minis otherwise.

I don't care what anyone thinks of the book but don't be rude to real OR hypothetical people who enjoy it. There's been blatant trolling in this thread from the get-go.
