Well, as per the preview has somehow got me more hyped for this issue than I already was.
I get the idea the referencing of the Annual might just be because the order of MTMTE and RID was mixed up a few issues in, used to be MTMTE first then RID after wasn't it?

Flywheels was a Duocon originally. I guess it's easier to make him a Triple Changer vs being a downgraded combiner.

Now I want a new Blitzwing figure that gets remolded into flywheels.

And a Springer remolded into Battletrap.

Holy smokes, I realized just what the heck Fulcrum transforms into... or what K-Class is... or who is the one whose crime is, "He lived"...

They are living bombs. Look at the arms of the Cons in the flashback... they all transform into cylindrical shapes. And they are dropped out of a ship... And the joke about the "first time"... Yeah, Fulcrum was a kamikaze bomb - who didn't went off. And the DJD is probably after him, now.

Holy shit, this issue's gonna be explosive.

If Hasbro ever gets around to making a Blitzwing, I'd be pretty happy with Flywheels as a remold.

If FansProject or another unlicensed/third party company tackled them, I imagine an attempt at replicating the Duocon feature would be made, and they could probably do it well since they won't have to worry about squeezing that feature into a deluxe class figure's budget.

Someone lead Misfire to that ship. So I'm poised to believe that there's a 7th Decepticon roaming around.

Grimlock is an Autobot which means disposing of him isn't in the DJD's jurisdiction and he's also appears to be in some type of Stasis. So it's not likely that Helex is even reading his energy signature. Plus why would the wake him up to watch them kill a Con?

As long as Grimlock isn't in their way I don't think they care. So again...there's got to be a 7th Con on that ship who's unaccounted for.

So we know that at least one Con's will die and we also suspect that this ship will became airborne again. So they'll need someone to pilot it or at least give some explanation about what's in it.

Honestly alittle over a month ago, I really couldn't care less about these characters. Fast foward to the present and I hope they could get their own book! LOL! It is going to be a true disappointment if they don't make it out of this. Fight with everthing you got guys!

Holy crap Shockwave, I think you're spot on! Dammit that's what I love about MTMTE, they manage to weave in a lot of small seemingly insignificant stuff throughout the issues, and then give us a payoff AND a twist! Brilliant! Absolutely cannot wait to get this issue! Sometimes I actually wish they'd stop previews so it won't make the wait all the more agonizing

Just had a thought though, would be interesting if each of these Cons really had something to hide from the DJD, thus no one really bothering to try and contact them and ask who it is they're really after, and then indeed turns out to be the one who lived (and obviously it's not Harry Potter). We could get quick and possibly hilarious flashbacks as to what these Cons thought they did to piss off the DJD. Love how Krok immediately says this is ridiculous, NO ONE's going to admit they did something. At least he knows what sort of crew he hooked up with

That said, my money is still on Spinister being the traitor. Everyone else seemed to be coming up with excuses about their loyalty, and he was the first one to bring up the possibility of just handing over whom the DJD is looking for to them. Krok has something to hide, too, but Spinister OOC stupidity, IMHO, is just a ruse. In most prior materials (Marvel UK, US) he is a leader of a special commando team on par with the Wreckers, or right-hand man to Thunderwing... and a very sly fox at that.

Btw, I am so glad I already have the 2007 Crankcase toy... I bet a lot of people will be looking for it now. And I hope one day we get a proper Spinister toy too, the Botcon one is just not to my liking.

Krok is actually one of these few good Decepticons. He keeps his team together without have to resort to violence. He doesn't hand anyone over to the DJD. Other than shooting the Autobot, he is a pretty decent fellow.

Can we sure that there is only one traitor?
It seems that most of them - at least Fulcrum(who has flashback), Krok(who suggests to fight DJD), and Crankcase(who agrees Krok's idea) - have something in mind.

God, I just love how tight the writing is on MTMTE. It's really showing up RiD in my opinion, and Barber's book arguably has the better cast to work with.

Colour me madly impressed and pacing impatiently for my next hit ^_^

The fact that Roberts is making us care about all these obscure bots like Skids, Swerve, Rung, Rewind compared to how Barbers is handling such long time fan favorites like Prowl, Bumblebee, Jazz and Ironhide, it just shows how good of a writer he is. Hell I'm caring and worried about the Scavengers. Can't say I felt the same with Ratbat and the Constructicons in RID.

Movie night is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
