Amazon have updated their listing for Transformers Classics UK Volume 5 with the cover artwork. The volume covers issues 145-179 of the Marvel UK run, along with the 1988 annual, and this is reflected in the cover artwork, which shows Unicron (from the Legacy of Unicron), Triton (from the Annual story “Peace”), Flame and an undead Impactor (from City of Fear). Plenty of good, classic Generation 1 stories are collected in this volume! Transformers Classics UK Volume 5 is due to be released in early December 2013.

Great looking cover…I've had this on order for ages.

dammit, I don't want to buy City of Fear's arc again but…. auuuughh I always love new info on the comics and i really want to know how Flame was really based off of or something (or if he's just the typical mad scientist trope.)

I just started collecting the US classics and look forward to this eventually. TF comics were so different back then!

Great cover, and one of the greatest periods in TF comics.

Seconded, one of my favourite UK stories.

Agreed – You can't go wrong with zombie robots.

For any US fans that enjoyed LSOTW, then City of Fear will be a real treat. You can really see where James Roberts pulled some of his inspiration from here, and it's one of the best UK stories, alongside Wrath of Guardian/Grimlock, Robot Buster and Target: 2006.

Ahhh! I just realized that Flame is Hot Rod's secret identity! Or brother or something.
…
AHHHHH!
