oy, not feeling his take on the TFs at all… not really feeling the Joes either, although they somewhat look like the Cartoon models, so i can see how that would appeal to some folks.
Megastar
That was…okay.
LegendAntihero
You liked Danger Girl/GI Joe. The story was okay. I bought that series hoping there'd be fan service
DrArkeville
That's correct. John Barber have been editor for several G.I. Joe comics and one of my favourites Danger Girl/G.I. Joe.
As I mentioned before; I really looking forward to this crossover serie. Especially with these two talented writer's.
redguyver
lol, the cover looks like a nod to the old inhumaniod tendril .
lol
now thats a cross over
Sockie
Co-written. Scioli's writing it, too.
LegendAntihero
Isn't he also the editor for Gi Joe?
scubaboy31
Well its being written by John barber, who is pretty dedicated to tf comics having, y'know, written and edited them for years…
LegendAntihero
They're actually still going through with this? If they are, I want Furman, Roberts or someone dedicated to Transformers comics to write this
Weremole
You should be back. There are amazing things out. Go check out Prophet, Wandering Son, Orc Stain, Godzilla The Half Century War, Atomic Robo, Brides Story, Delilah Dirk… So many great comics out right now!

Man, looking this and the art over definitely reminds me of the TF comics (a lot of comics) at the time; and just having played Far Cry 3:Blood Dragon for the first time little bit ago I'm having a 80's sugar rush. Then I realize I'm getting old…slag it.
Wolfguard
Not too keen on his artwork. Even if this were 1984, I'd pass because of the style alone…and yeah, I was buyin' TF comics in '84.

Don't worry, I have no intentions of reading it. I was simply commenting on the absurdity of TFs having any use at all for insignificant mammals from a backwater planet. Decepticons want Earth's resources, and Autobots defend humans from the Decepticon killing machines. That's just how I see it. As usual, any opinion that doesn't sound like a cheerleader gets bashed. Sorry to piss you off by not liking what you like, but that's how it is for me. Opinions are like buttholes, we all have one.
CapnScumbone
This is a stupid nitpick, but the idea that BB can square off against Starscream is absurd. Screamer has held his own against Prime in several engagements, and would outmatch any other ark-crew Autobot easily. But just because Bee is the second most popular…
scubaboy31
This isn't about TF 'needing' GI Joe, or vice versa. Both can stand firmly on their own. But guess what? There might be some fun stories to be told, especially seeing as there seems to be a retro Kirby-esque look to the art there might be a certain playful cheesy quality to the storytelling too?
I'd be really up for a book in the style of Lee and Kirby's FF run starring the Transformers and the Joes. Just weird action packed adventures.
To be honest mate, I'd rather you didn't read this book. You seem to respond negatively towards anything that doesn't fit within your view of TF comics. That's fine. But if you obviously hate comics with humans in spare yourself and us your misery and don't read them. It's clear you have no intention of even looking for something to like here. Do something you enjoy.

They have been doing that lately working with comics lately .i would flip out
bellpeppers
Hope we see some crossover H.A. toys with this.

I agree that this doesn't feel much like an "Interview" and more like a transcript taken from a dinner conversation about two friends who are trying to bring themselves up to speed about what's happened with these brands since the 80's.
Not really much "news" here about this series. I'm excited about the creative team and the retro KIRBY-esque feel that will be brought to these stories, but this article didn't bring a lot other than the new preliminary artwork they showed here.
DrArkeville
Really looking forward to this. Best of two worlds.
doomtron
Oh shit i have to get back into comics .the fact that there isn't a cobra ratler / starscream toy is a crime to humanity
