I hate who they had to kill off. He was such a character -- I mean maybe if they didn't kill him off Hasbro might be "forced" to make a figure of him (like Drift). Then again, Roberts does have a tendency of killing off characters faster than those vintage Gundam series (Tomino?).

On that note, why hasn't anyone back on Cybertron tracked down the NAIL's who sold Rodimus the Lost Light in the first place? The rather glib acceptance of the loss of 200 Autobots back home has been a major peeve of mine from Barber.
Prowl might not want to open any big investigation because he knows what really happened to the Lost Light, and knows there'd be no point to really questioning anyone. Of course, there's a lot of stuff suggesting that he doesn't know what happened, so he might also not be investigating for fear that it could be exposed he really did have something planted aboard the ship. Also, Metalhawk would most likely balk if Bumblebee and Prowl started interrogating and accusing NAILs--especially seeing as how he thinks they're the ones responsible.

Red Alert is one of my favourites, so I'm looking forward to his roll in all this. Nice review!
