This evening we have a treat for fans of the IDW Publishing Transformers series, More Than Meets the Eye. Courtesy of writer James Roberts, with art from Alex Milne, we have an exclusive image of next weeks issue of Transformers More Than Meets The Eye. What could Rewind, Brainstorm, Ratchet, Drift, Chromedome, Whirl and Skids be doing here? And what are the "Zones of Influence"? We'll have to wait until next Wednesday to find out!

For now, enjoy the art and speculate away on the 2005 Boards! Click on the title bar to view the art! Also, in case you missed it the first time, be sure to check out TFW's exclusive interview with James Roberts!

Ah Ill let Alex have his little moment to shine. Helps make him feel included and all that. We all know the reason you guys buy these books is just for the colours anyhow

I've held off getting my hands on any IDW stuff besides LSOTW while I do things like backtrack to a few final Henkei/Gentei figures, get some relatively easy/cheap to find Prime toys and preorder a couple of Masterpieces.

After that, I planned on having a catch up splurge on IDW Transformers TPBs and hardcovers. I'm really tempted to get my hands hands on MTMTE and RID stuff sooner; they're something alot of fans like to feel a part of!

Rung is back!

My guess is, Rewind is outlining a daring plan to use Chromedome's neurosurgical skills and "go" into Rung's memories to bring him back from his coma.

If Rung in in this preview... maybe we need a spoiler warning in the title here?

Or....

They're discussing how to block the entire incident from MTMTE # 6.

That could make for some interesting developments down the line.

As he's been alive this whole time, I didn't feel it was necessary. but if you guys agree, I will add one.

My interpretation of this page was it's right before we go into the story Rewind is telling of Cybertron's past from the solicitation.
Omnius
More of the guy with the eyebrows? Always good to see!
SPLIT LIP
Hooray, they built him a new head!
ssg4life
all i can think about with this page is "what's red alert up to and how skeptical are they of his mental state?"
Lumpy
It's entirely probable that this could be a flashback too, from before the event happened to Rung... so i think spoiler tags aren't necessary.
grindcore138
Hooray for Rung being back! But in what capacity? It'll be interesting to see what effect all this has had on him, and I wanna know if he actually heard Red Alert, maybe finding out where Red's gone is the sub-plot through Shadowplay?
I don't have a good theory for what could be going on here, other than going by the reaction shots, Whirl will say something completely inappropriate, haha.
PredaconElder
This is a flashback. Shadowplay is a three part heist story about Optimus probably stealing the matrix back from the Senate.
SMOG
It still looks like Rung is there, in the Lost Light present to me, from the way the panels are speaking.

Guess we'll find out.

Less color-commentary, more coloring.
Arsenic
I'm afraid to see this words on TFwiki next week:
The cast page at the end of the comic is updated this issue, removing Red Alert and adding Rung.
