Simon Furman has updated his blog with a script wrap for Maximum Dinobots #2. The issue, with Nick Roche on art, Furman on script, and scheduled for December, features the reunification of the Dynobots (yet to assume the dinosaur-themed spelling of their name). Furman describes the reunification of the team as good and bad news. Bad news especially for the town of Fallon, Nevada, which is about to play host to Dinobot-on-Dinobot action! Yikes!

what comics does this series tie into? is this all part of the devastation comics? among the others, I can't remember there names though

This is one comic I'm looking forward to, though it'll only be 5 issues, and I'm not entirely sure I'll be able to find somewhere near me to get it (I'll have to ask my brother-in-law if he knows any good shops that'll have newer comic books). As for the Hot Rod thing, I'm curious as to what that means. Somehow the image of Grimlock in dino-mode bitting/ripping Hot Rod's head off comes to mind.

If there's one thing I've always thought we needed, it was another Dinobots story by Simon Furman. You really don't get a lot of those. It'll be especially nice to see him doing something with Grimlock for a change.

It takes place after Devastation and also the Grimlock spotlight. It's either concurrent or after the currently running Revelations series.
