Metalhawk doesn't care about other Autobot's uneasy feelings, resentment or outright hatred of Decepticons who have hurt them in the past - that those Autobots have to put the past behind them and move on whether they want to or not, but if he's confronted with his own personal demon, its "kill him where he stands". This series makes me miss Masterforce Metalhawk.

I guess you mean turmoil - Ultra class Onslaught would make a nice base for Turmoil. Since he landed on Cybertron, i've thought Metalhawk would be a quick and easy repaint/head swap from RTS Cyclonus. Really like the old school paneling over the course of these pages. nice pacing (and in this case, the spread on a page will probably have a greater impact than reading it digitally, just cause we been talking about that in MTMTE 6 discussion. Starscream has been amazing throughout this entire series. He's so... starscream-y, i love it.
I guess 'fan favourite' rolls off the tongue a little easier than something like 'potential favourite of fans who don't mind the character not having a toy and only appearing in IDW G1'. Not that I'm poking fun at that really; that meaning's quite acceptable to me in detailed form or using more economy of phrasing. After all, the initial news of Turmoil's return in this story generated alot of manifold favourable responses from the, well, fans on this website to say the least. ![]()

Now I should start by saying while I've followed these two IDW series on TFW closely, I'm yet to put my money where my mouth is in supporting them due to holding out for a trade paperback or a hardcover; less items to hunt down and get posted to Australia haha.

That said, from what I've seen, there must be some antici[ation both in the story and fandom for Starscream to slip up, but things to me just keep getting better because he doesn't. I mean that more in the story sense of good than morally; he still retains his character. |
