The ROTF preview indicates that Arcee is one bot and she speaks through all 3 bikes. Weird.

Prime driving out of a flying plane and freefalling in truck mode.

Definitely know what happens to Demolishor now, even though we kinda did already.

He's also crazily undersized in those pictures.

Looks like a nice big opening in Shanghai. I know we already knew that sort-of, but I am excited.

LOVED the twins. They couldn't separate...ha ha ha! I am really excited for them actually.

And Arcee might actually be the three bikes afterall... I wonder what the coloring is going to be like in the movie. They toys are red and blue and ??? But that just showed shades of pink and purple! Hasbro, you didn't...did you? Well, the ice cream truck is pink, so I guess one pink toy is the limit for any given TF line...

They obviously can't handle the tight turn at high speed so they fall apart again.

Also, surprisingly Prime says "I wish there was another way" I guess he's very aware the Decepticon he kills there is a Decepticon, but also his own TF species... 'merely' for the sake of the humans...

I wonder how much that moral choice will play part in the movie.

That picture of Devastator in AHM is epic! I confess that I am seriously looking forward to getting the "All Hail Megatron" Volume 2 trade paperback. Loving the art in the drawing of Megatron.

Nizzi's cover art on RotF is gorgeous. Can't wait...

Megatron's plan seems a little... soft?
Surely, it would be easier for him to simply annihilate the dissenters? I mean, if he's trying to create peace through unparalleled strength, why doesn't he apply that philosophy to his own force? Why not knock some heads together, demonstrate strength?

Anyway, both previews were pretty good.

Why does Demolishor have the wrong vehicle mode? His design is of a giant excavator, not a normal sized one.

So....was that Stratosphere dropping Prime or just a Plane? Either way, it explains the toy!

I know it looks cool and all, but why the hell would a squadron of modern fighter jets feel the need to fly circles around Devastator, within his reach?? I mean, it's not 1933. Our aerial combat capabilities have improved since King Kong.

I'm sure that's the only reason, so they would all fit in the picture.

I think this makes more sense now as to the confusion going on. A while back there was mention that when TF2 crew caught wind of T4 making larger robots in their movie they went back and forth on this and hence the sizes got bigger.

I think in order to save spending more time on a constructicon that looks alot like a red scrapper and had a life span of a house fly they just reused one of the constructicons from Devastator and recolored him ala Hasbro repaint. Does that qualify as a toy fan Nod lol.

Um, I don't think that's supposed to be Demolishor. His robot mode looks nowhere the same as this guy. I'm thinking it's a stray Decept and Demolishor shows up later in the issue.

To whom is Megatron referring? Is he speaking about the Decepticon army as a whole? or Devastator? (Sorry if it's a dumb question).

Mind you though, the comic adapt could also be going off an early screenplay too like the novelizations

I think he's referring to the Decepticon forces in general. Megatron knows that he's built an army of deviants, thugs and psychopaths... petty, murderous monsters basically. I believe he's saying that his current Decepticons don't represent his ideal for his "new order" but they are what's needed to "get the job done"... after which he would dispose of them or recondition them into the good little police state he envisions.

Reminds me a bit of Stalin... use a bunch of rowdy revolutionaries to get to power, and then once you've got it, get rid of them because now you see them as undesirables and a threat to your control. Interesting interpretation of Megatron's motivations. Nice to see him given a bit more of a sinister plotter's role, who is always a couple of steps ahead of the game.

Cool to see that the film will apparently start off with a bang. Optimus diveing out of a plane in truck-mode = BADASS. Can't wait to see what it actually looks like in the film.

Yep, it's looking like it's going to be that way after all. Which frankly I'm cool with. It's not really a "new" concept for Transformers. But it is underused.

Primus, that is great. I'm guessing Stratosphere's alt mode will show up in the movie, but robot mode is for toy purposes only (kind of like Incinerator and Landmine if I remember correctly). I cannot wait for June 24

Wait !! Isn't Arcee suppose to be 3 different characters ?? In the trailers is 3 Bot-modes !!! Could this be later fix by the time is out ?

It's been speculated that the 3 bikes would house one mind, so her being one bot/bike was always more of a possibility then an actual fact.

That being said I'm guessing that if this "one mind/three bodies" thing is true, the Deluxe Chromia figure was given a different name in order to avoid having 3 different "Arcee" figures out on the pegs.

But it's just a theory of mine. I could be completely wrong.

Okay, I made a mistake about Sideswipe/ways. In fairness, I can't tell the difference between generic sleek silver cars, and the robot mode art hardly helps.

I'd say that's a pretty sound theory.

I think that's being a bit sensationalist. The art is actually quite good... hardly "half finished sketches" (that would be Maximum Dinobots... zing!). The colours are bleak, though I think that suits the context (especially AHM)... but I have to say I MUCH prefer most of the artwork that we've been getting from IDW, than the faux-anime Dreamwave house-style stuff. I miss EJ Su, but Matere is decent enough.

Being a fan of arcee I'm confused....if it is the 1 mind/3 bikes type thing then why name the blue bike chromia....give her her own backstory (special friends with ironhide) and also refer to her "sisters"....and as we have seen from the wal-mart website....there is an arcee figure that is the pinck bike....I mean what happend to the purple one......I guess its concievable that they are triplets sort of menaing like triplets they speak togetehr or know what each other will say....so even though the first bike said arcee the otehr 2 who may have differnt names jsut finished her thoughts.....

Yeah, the colouring on the movie adaptation isn't going to be super accurate I'm afraid - a lot of the colouring was based on concept art, and there were several variations of Arcee, and we didn't know which would be the final ones. I seem to remember finishing up on the Movie comic a week or two before seeing the first Superbowl trailer, so yeah... something's ain't going to be exactly spot on unfortunately. It'll still be fun though.

I'm thinking that the idea that the three bikes are sisters, or even individual characters, is entirely a creation of the toy packaging bios. In the film it seems all three will just be Arcee split across three bodies. The toys are treating them separately just to avoid having three Deluxe-class motorcycles all named Arcee in the same line, either to avoid confusion or to make them more desirable.

Yeah your right that is probably true...i think the same goes for the stratosphere toy....I dont think he will be an actual charcter in the movie....but because they do have optimus roll out of a jet like it they decided to make it into a toy and turn the jet into a transformer even though i doubt it is in the movie.....

Great preview! i loved the rotf one especially where prime flies out the back of a plane, transforms and stabs the decepticon straight down. I hope it's that cool in the movie
