Apple's iBooks has updated with a three page preview of Robots in Disguise #17. In this story titled Shockwaves, Shockwave takes to the centre stage as the next big arc of Robots in Disguise begins to unfold - and from dialog on these pages, certain shock revelations may come into play! Livio Ramondelli takes up the baton of artist in this latest installment of the ongoing - check it out!

The official Transformers Facebook page has posted the creative commentary for IDW Publishing's new issue of Transformers More Than Meets the Eye. Issue 16 hit the shelves today and featured the aftermath of the Lost Light's encounter with Overlord. Truly an emotional issue if you haven't read it yet. Amazon has updated their preorder page for the Robots in Disguise Volume 4 trade paperback with an image of the cover art for the collected edition. The cover art uses the Andrew Griffith retailer incentive cover to Robots in Disguise #14. Check the cover out at left.

We have received the Diamond Distribution Shipping List for next Wednesday. May kicks off in impressive fashion, Transformers comics wise, with the release of Spotlight Hoist, the second printing of Spotlight Megatron, and the Transformers Regeneration 1 Volume 2, collecting issues 86-90 of the continued Transformers comics saga. Mairghread Scott has tweeted a preview image from IDW's Beast Hunters Issue #1. Years after we last saw Grimlock and the Dinobots in Rage of the Dinobots, things have not been kind on Cybertron, as this panel complete with Grimlock's internal monolog notes! Check out the panel and get excited for this new chapter in the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters saga!

Amazon.com has updated their preorder page for IDW Publishings sixth collected volume of the original Marvel Transformers comics. In what is ending up as the definitive collection of these stories that got many fans in the 80's interested in the Transformers brand, this volume will contain issues 63 through 74. Presumably, only one more collection will be released after this wrapping up the final six issues. This volume features Blitzwing on the cover and will be released on October 6th, 2013.

Next up we have an early preview of IDW's Transformers More than Meets the Eye #16. Following Overlord's rampage and the inevitable bodycount that followed, the survivors pick up the pieces while one Autobot fights for his very life. The five-part arc "Remain in Light" kicks off here!

iTunes Books has updated with a three page preview of Transformers Spotlight Hoist, the sixth of the new run of IDW's Transformers Spotlights. Spotlight Hoist like Spotlight Trailcutter is set between issues 5 and 6 of More than Meets the Eye. The preview drops us right into the middle of the action with a chase sequence - featuring Tarn of the Decepticon Justice Division, no less! Comic Book Resources has posted an interview with James Roberts, master Transformers comics writer and all-round good guy. The interview looks forward on a lot of great new material coming down the pipeline, including the upcoming "Remain in Light" five part story arc which concludes the first part of the More than Meets the Eye series, and also teases about Spotlight Hoist and what that story will entail. Furthermore there are the first hints of a massive crossover event running between both More than Meets the Eye and Robots in Disguise titled "Dark Cybertron", an event which James has this to say: "It's huge, involving hundreds of characters and -- like the end of the war -- it marks another turning point in the Transformers Universe."

There's some new fish in the Amazon - and when we say fish we mean Transformers tradepaperback solicitations. Amazon has updated their site with two new Transformers paperback solicits - the first, due out on 1 October 2013, is Transformers Classics Volume 6, collecting issues #63-74 of the original Marvel Transformers comics and including the bulk of the two major arcs at the end of the Generation 1 comics, Matrix Quest and All Fall Down. Then the following week on 8 October 2013 Transformers Robots in Disguise Volume 4 is due for release, collecting issues #12-16 of John Barber's epic ongoing. No cover art is available for either one as yet.
