Mairghread Scott has tweeted a preview image from IDW's Beast Hunters Issue #1. Years after we last saw Grimlock and the Dinobots in Rage of the Dinobots, things have not been kind on Cybertron, as this panel complete with Grimlock's internal monolog notes! Check out the panel and get excited for this new chapter in the Transformers Prime Beast Hunters saga!

Amazon.com has updated their preorder page for IDW Publishings sixth collected volume of the original Marvel Transformers comics. In what is ending up as the definitive collection of these stories that got many fans in the 80's interested in the Transformers brand, this volume will contain issues 63 through 74. Presumably, only one more collection will be released after this wrapping up the final six issues. This volume features Blitzwing on the cover and will be released on October 6th, 2013.

Next up we have an early preview of IDW's Transformers More than Meets the Eye #16. Following Overlord's rampage and the inevitable bodycount that followed, the survivors pick up the pieces while one Autobot fights for his very life. The five-part arc "Remain in Light" kicks off here!

iTunes Books has updated with a three page preview of Transformers Spotlight Hoist, the sixth of the new run of IDW's Transformers Spotlights. Spotlight Hoist like Spotlight Trailcutter is set between issues 5 and 6 of More than Meets the Eye. The preview drops us right into the middle of the action with a chase sequence - featuring Tarn of the Decepticon Justice Division, no less! Be sure to check this issue out if you're a fan of More than Meets the Eye - in the mean time, click here to check out the preview.

Comic Book Resources has posted an interview with James Roberts, master Transformers comics writer and all-round good guy. The interview looks forward on a lot of great new material coming down the pipeline, including the upcoming "Remain in Light" five part story arc which concludes the first part of the More than Meets the Eye series, and also teases about Spotlight Hoist and what that story will entail. Furthermore there are the first hints of a massive crossover event running between both More than Meets the Eye and Robots in Disguise titled "Dark Cybertron", an event which James has this to say: "It's huge, involving hundreds of characters and -- like the end of the war -- it marks another turning point in the Transformers Universe."

There's some new fish in the Amazon - and when we say fish we mean Transformers tradepaperback solicitations. Amazon has updated their site with two new Transformers paperback solicits - the first, due out on 1 October 2013, is Transformers Classics Volume 6, collecting issues #63-74 of the original Marvel Transformers comics and including the bulk of the two major arcs at the end of the Generation 1 comics, Matrix Quest and All Fall Down. Then the following week on 8 October 2013 Transformers Robots in Disguise Volume 4 is due for release, collecting issues #12-16 of John Barber's epic ongoing. No cover art is available for either one as yet.

Newsarama has posted the solicitations from IDW Publishing for the month of July. Lots of excellent Transformers comic related stories await us according to these solicitations. Some of the more exciting news from these solicitations is a pair of classic characters, one in RID and one in MTMTE, are set to appear. We won't spoil these character's identities, but be warned the discussion thread may have spoilers.

Newsarama has posted up the preview for next week's Transformers Regeneration 1 issue 90! Regeneration 1 #90 brings to a close the Dark Reign arc - but the consequences will run far deeper as Regeneration 1 hits the midway point in its story arc! Be sure to check it out when it arrives in stores next Wednesday!

By way of LadyWreck on Twitter we have word of the next Transformers collection to be added to the IDW Limited series of premium Transformers books. Fans of Nick Roche and James Roberts will be pleased to know that their breakout work, the Last Stand of the Wreckers, will be getting the IDW Limited treatment. It is due for a release on Tuesday April 9th. Prices are Red Label $125, Black Label $250, Blue Label $350! Each version comes with special portfolio prints. Writer James Roberts describes the special editions as "a thing of beauty".
