Nizzi Cover Art for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: Defiance #1 def1
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie concept artist and IDW Cover artist Josh Nizzi has stopped by our 2005 Boards and revealed his cover to Issue #1 of the movie prequel comic, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: Defiance. Defiance #1 is due out in January 2009. Check out the cover by clicking on the image to the left!

Josh Nizzi, you are absolutely amazing and you are rapidly becoming one of the best TF artists in the history of the franchise. Nobody can draw the movie TFs like you can. They really look like they were plucked right out of the movie. I don't know how you managed to reproduce the movie style so incredibly faithfully (way more than any artist I've ever seen), man, you're really something!

On a sidenote, I wonder if these "Revenge" Alliance/Defiance prequel comics are going to reveal any of the film's new characters? The IDW prequel series in '07 revealed many of the characters in the first film months ahead of time (in Feb./March '07 I believe)...

The cover with the protoforms descending was shown in that thread, but the Megatron one (Defiance #2) wasn't.

And even the protoforms' cover is of higher resolution here, so thanks for the pics.
