Yeah. If he is truly dead, it's heartbreaking to think that Red Alert is still trying to talk to him. Like when a baby animal dies, and the mother carries the corpse around for a few days because she can't accept the fact that it's dead. Seems like something Red would do...

Where does it say he's alive? Looks dead to me.

I'm inclined to think it's just Red talking to a corpse as it makes him comfortable/a sign of his sanity slowly deteriorating. But if Rung is somehow alive then I'll be so happy.

He's attached to all kinds of machines and his brain is deliberately drawn semi-intact. Seems like a lot of effort to put into a corpse.

I wish it would be Kup coming back.

This. I'm not 100% sure he's alive, and I'm trying to prepare myself for disappointment, but that pic suggests it pretty hard. His brain is still there and looks intact. He has multiple tubes hooked to that brain, feeding into machinery with a bunch of screens (and the one under the speech bubble has EKG-looking waves on it). There's some kind of monitor on his right arm, and another one on his abdomen. Why would a corpse be hooked up to that much stuff?

And another random observation: look at the orange thing in the top left corner...it looks like they've taken off his back kibble to make him lay flat on the table. Weird, but it makes sense.

What happened to him? No idea they killed him off.

He died in Infestation. Well, he's not really dead, just displaced and a zombie.
