Don't even want this for free.

Praise be to Great Dagon! May He forever swim the shores of Innsmouth and provides us our bounty of fish

That Cover Art is fantastic and the fact Barber is also working on this is fantastic.
I hope they make the new RID ongoing comic series.
Now doubt will I try to pick this comic book up for free comic book day…Hopefully I remember.

I really dig Grimlock's design… sucks that they only do Deluxe-size toys for these guys apparently, I would love a Voyager- or even Leader-class Grimlock with that design.
SmellySteph
Cool
Shizuka
I can't figure out why the left side of Bumblebee is drawn asymmetrically.
bumblebeej8
Looks cool.
optimusmegas
the art in the book looks better than the show animation…unless allt he comic is is stills of the show……hate when they do that
Sockie
No, Scioli is only working on the bonus TFvJoe strip that's included in the book. Priscilla Tramontano did the art for the cover, and is also doing it for the RiD 2015 story.

Tom Scioli is doing the art? I just hope it turns out like that cover.
(Even if there is something incredibly wrong with Fixit.)
Megastar
I was thinking the exact same thing.

I freaking LOVE John Barber. I've loved all of the comic formerly known as Robots in Disguise since it came out, and I really like all of the Dark of the Moon comics he wrote. And that art is gorgeous. And so far I'm really liking what we've seen of this cartoon. I am seriously looking forward to this.
Fixedwing
I am looking forward to reading the comic. Thank you for letting us know.
Smokescreen
I wish the show's art looked as good as that cover.
Crystal Convoy
Love the cover. Looks so much better than the show. Hope the interiors look that good. Also, sometimes I feel like the only who doesn't think Barber is an awful writer. I really enjoyed the pre-Dark Cybertron RiD (haven't yet read anything post-DC), so I'm looking forward to this.

thank you for sharing

Free RID….?
Oh, it's that RID.
PASS!

Well I'm excited about the bonus TF vs GIJ Scioli strip at least. I'll certainly give the comic (and cartoon) itself a fair shake, but I wonder how much consultation IDW is doing with Hasbro Studios when it comes to the actual plot/story direction. How much of the book will eventually get ignored/retconned to oblivion as the show goes on? (Having the show writers work on it is one of the best things about the TF: Animated comic miniseries.)

Scioli's credit is just for the "exclusive Transformers vs. G.I. Joe strip" that the issue also contains. Priscilla Tramontano, long-time colourist at IDW, is drawing and colouring the RID story.
Driskull98
Hopefully it'll be better than the show.
