Bleedingcool.com has updated their site with IDW Publishing's solicitations for the month of November. Not only will be getting the new issues for More Than Meets The Eye, Robots in Disguise and Regeneration One but we'll be getting the newest title as well. Transformers Prime: Rage of the Dinobots!

I should really try to follow one of these series. The covers look amazing and the previews were very interesting.

You really should! All three series have been really good, especially MTMTE. I'd recommend getting that one first.

God... if only the FOC Dinobots DID show up in the actual Prime TV show... I could probably shuffle off this mortal coil a happy man. Well, after their toys then premiered at retail that is.

So is Optimus ACTUALLY going to kill Megatron this time? I'm still hoping that he doesn't have the bearings to do it and Ratchet finds a way to commit suicide, giving him a grand total of FOUR times he defeated Megatron.

Oh, and now I know which shelf Generations FOC Grimlock is going on...

Hmm, if Prime offs Megatron this early in the series, I wonder what will be the big thing the Autobots need to overcome to end their conflict forever by issue 100?

Rage of the dinobots is suppoced to lead into season 3 of Prime. xD And giving O.P. his original pre-earth robot mode seems like a stupid move. Why not have him in his FOC boy, like half of the other characters?

There are a completely stupid number of main villains active at this point in Marvel/ReGen One.

I'll actually be pretty impressed if Megatron is the first major threat to go down, it's the complete reverse of what people would expect. Especially after he popped up as the main villain of #81, when the events of #80 could very plausibly have resulted in his death.

I like this design better. IDW has been consistently (and successfully) using their own designs for faction leaders, even if they borrow from other designs for other characters.

all theses issues sound awesome, Rotberts continuing police action pre-autocracy (?), Dirge back in the mix, Furman giving Optimus and Megs one last titanic struggle, and dinobots on a post-war cybertron

I think it's clear Megatron dies in Regen (considering his Achilles Head on his chariot thing)

Yeah, I like the concept of Megatron NOT being the "big bad" of the series. We still have Bludgeon, Jhiaxus, Galvatron, Shockwave, Scorponok, and many others that can be used. I'm betting on Jhiaxus.

Megatron and co have a perfectly serviceable Space Bridge back on Earth. It'd be easy enough to add Shockwave to the cast.

MTMTE is easily the best writen Transformers series in any media ever.

Every fan should be reading it IMO.

Prob'ly just for this issue, guy. Issue #6 was by Livio Ramondelli, and #7 was by Brendan Cahill. It happens.

As early as issue 5. He never actually LED all of the Decepticons again after Shockwave took over. Sure, he had a few that wavered loyalty... but that's really it. There was the time that Shockwave let him come back but it was just to set up a more permanent downfall. Ratchet was his arch nemesis in the comics.

Yeah, I was really expecting Megatron to be the big bad for Regeneration One. I figured since he was played down so much in the original run that they'd let him shine this time around. Bringing him back just to get rid of him seems sort of pointless. Seems like it would have made more sense to say he died when the Ark crashed and move on to other villains. Unless Furman was just itching to have a proper Megatron/Optimus showdown I guess.

Hm, I wonder how we'll segue into the flashback run by Roberts in MTMTE, maybe a tale by Ultra Magnus or Rewind?

Much as I'd like Roberts to take on some of the fan favorite characters like Optimus, I really want to see more focus on the Lost Light. Maybe he can write the monthly and do a limited series focusing on this sort of thing on the side
