Not been mentioned yet, but Marty Isenberg (of Transformers Animated) is credited as one of the writers of the Prime 'screengrab' comic. I take it that means he's writing for the show? Isn't that news?
Also, I reckon Spike is totally gonna die in the ongoing. That cover hints it, the readers want it and to be honest its the only way his character arc could fittingly end. the guy has been a total screw up, as well as desicrating the memory of a character I loved as a kid. Audiences used to 'relate' to the Spike character, can't say that now.

Ummmm…. they basically hint of spoilered character's demise in TF2… Prime comments on 6 entanglements with Decepticons. I assumed spoilered character snuffed his spark during one of those entanglements. Either way, do you *REALLY* want to see him return? The idea of a sequel is more NEW characters. Sure, he was fun, but there is sooooooo many more characters that could be raped by Michael Bay's horrid take on Transformers.
Chopperface
I don't know what I'm more shocked at – Galvatron or the spoilers for Rising Storm.
Bass X0
Not if its in the solicitation. Thats advertising the basic plot to attract customers. Why buy a comic if you don't know the story will be enjoyable beforehand?
And does Spike die?

ORIO
Because it spoils the comic
Optimus Prime
Well I imagine that

How are these film spoilers? The comics don't affect the movie at all. Its just IDW sucking some dollars out of fanboys' wallets. If it were the comic adaptation, then yeah, it could be a spoiler, but the prequels mean nothing.
Smokescreen
Well, judging by the cover for Ongoing #17, Jazz appears to be Don's new design, but drawn by Milne. So, I wouldn't expect the designs to change all that much for the others, either.
ORIO
No. he did not

Opticron Primal
wow dude, really?
Did you not read the "Please Use Spoiler Tags" post?
