IDW Publishing has revealed some information on their upcoming multi-series crossover, Infestation, at the New York Comic Con. Infestation will see the zombies of IDW’s own “Zombies VS Robots” invade the universes of IDW’s licensed properties Transformers, GI Joe, Ghostbusters and Star Trek (though bizarrely, not Angel, who you would think would be right at home fighting zombies…). The story will be told in two bookend issues, with each series also receiving two special issues to show the impact of the threat on their own universe. On the Transformers front, Transformers: Infestation #1 and 2 will be written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning who are also writing the bookends of the story, with Nick Roche handling art.
Find out more about the crossover over at Comic Book Resources.

I want to know if it's gory or not

While the idea of Transformers Vs. Zombies is laughable at best, if we factor in the various franchises that will be in this than it will truly be epic.

I swear to Grodd, if all the Zombies are "Red Shirts…"
Rattrap Primal
I could now see the many Starfleet Red Shirt Security Officers being turned into zombies and have to be vaporized by Kirk and Spock.
I don't think the Autobots are in any danger from the zombies, unless the Decepticons managed to make the virus able to infect Cybertronians

This might be the first comic I buy. I feel excited.

So I was at the NYCC IDW panal last night (saturday) and I heard about INFESTATION, which is pretty cool. I know that it's going to Start first with Transformers and go through Star Trek, G.I. Joe, and Ghostbusters. I would just love read who started the Infestation first. I think and I have a few ideas on how it may have started:
1. The Autobots or the Decepticons open a portal to a different world, enter it and brought something back with them like a virus.
2. The Cobra Organization was testing something out that could destroy the Joes and something went wrong or they released it.
3. The Ghostbusters come into contact with something big in the Paranormal world and the containment unit can't hold and releases the all the ghosts and whatever else has been growing in there.
I do believe that Ray and Egon will find a solution to this. I will say this that anyone that is not dead will be teaming up together which should be cool.
Those are my ideas that I think is what is going to happen.

Yeah..I don't think it's meant to be deep, just fun
Enigma2K2
You're kidding, right? it's about the "good guys"… which include GIANT ROBOTS and guys carrying around NUCLEAR PARTICLE ACCELERATORS on their backs… against the walking DEAD. With some pointy eared guy thrown in for good measure.
Blatant ONE SIDEDNESS notwithstanding, how f***ing deep do you think they could possibly make it?

I will get the tf issues. If it is any good then I will get the rest when it is collected.

You're about 2 years too late for that. That happened during AHM.
Hot Shot.
I want to see Spike eaten by Zombie Hunter O'Nion. Make it happen, IDW.

I could not agree with this post more.

Wow, are sales so bad at IDW that their resorting to multicrossovers and zombies. Honestly its a desperation move, anyone remember Star trek meets X men.
Cruellock
Sounds like a one-sided fight.

Hail to the king, baby!

I seriously had a nerdgasm just reading that headline. And that was before seeing that there would be zombies involved too!
Yeah, zombies are being done a lot lately, but it's all a question of whether or not it's done well. I wouldn't judge this until it comes out. But I have to say…
@Mister Gone, that picture is Huh-Larious!

I just want to see Prime blast his way through hordes of zombies. I also noticed that many zombie related stuff is coming out the last three months of this year (Dead rising 2, RE movies, zombie related comics, and Red dead redemption zombies)
