:3c wait until you all see who is on Alex's cover for #3.
…and by that, I mean I'm not sure what the fandom will think about it, but I was excited when I found out aboot it !
Mechafire
Okay, now I'm interested.
Foster
Corrected. Sorry about that.
Argus
No, but the Motorvators weren't in the comic either. So….
What exactly do you mean?
Argus
So Dai atlas was really a Con (explains all the weapons) and Drift is really Speeder?
That'd make for a nice father/son twist

"The colors for the cover are done by Chris Perez. "
That might be a typo since my name is Josh Perez and not Chris Perez.
OR MAYBE ME AND RYALL FUSED SOMEHOW POSSIBLY! !

^Calm down, man!
That reminds me…I need to hunt down a Dai Atlas vintage to go with my Generations Drift!
Brave Magnus

[Wing_Saber-X]
^Pretty much this!
Chris McFeely
I want it!
Foster
SPECTACULAR toy, though.

Ah, yes, Star Saber – another prematurely-lionized stereotypically bland Japanese Autobot leader whose personality amounted to "has a sword".
Soundwave2
well, you can't do much when you're the closing chapter of "G1 continuity" That's probably why people are excited about him, they get to see more of what he could possibly do, whether or not he IS the original "Zone" Dai Atlas. Minus Emusa, of course
Grimlock_13
That's exactly why I've LIKED what I've read from the IDW books. It's something different.
Foster
Yeah, but other than that he didn't do shit.
Soundwave2
Yep, I wish he was in more than one ass kicking episode. although Star Saber's still my favorite, you can't deny a guy who killed Trypticon, Devastator, Predaking, Piranacon all in one episode
Chris McFeely
Heh, you know, you make a good point. Dai Atlas ISN'T a big noise. He was a stereotypical Japanese Autobot commander who didn't have much of a personality but kicked a lot of ass because hey. People are excited about him because of the attitude destrongerlupus and I was talking about – because he's a nicely-designed obscure Japanese buttkicker being used in Western fiction, rather than because of anything about his personality or anything he DID (because he was basically a big nothing). Which is the same reason IDW have used him. And the same reason DW did the Japanese character things they did. Can't say the attitude doesn't resonate with the audience, then, I suppose.

woot dai atlas! looks like i just got a new profile pic for facebook haha
man i love that bot, he is such a wickid design
nemisispringer
I wonder if Atlas will be one of the autobots who gives drift his swords and trains him up etc
Macross7
Don't know where the love for Dai Atlas is coming from. What did he do to be 'cool'? I saw Zone but still could care less about him.
