By way of two new Amazon preorders, we have confirmation of Transformers UK Classics Volume 4 and a new volume 2 of G.I.Joe Vs Transformers. According to the preorder, the new Joe Vs Transformers volume will feature art by Mike Miller and written by Josh Blaylock who were the creative team for the Devil's Due G.I.Joe vs Transformers crossover books. This is the first time IDW Publishing will reprint any of the Devil's Due Transformers related comics. Hopefully, if a volume 3 is released after this, it will consist of the fourth volume of G.I.joe Vs Transformers: Black Horizon. Which has only been collected in the Joe Vs Transformers Omnibus previously.

Transformers UK Classics is scheduled for a December 11th release and will contain issues #113-145 and include the 1987 Transformers Annual and the Transformers/Action Force crossover, "Ancient Relics!".

Transformers Vs. G.I.Joe Volume 2 is schedule for a December 18th release.

Note; The image attached to this news story is just a place holder and will not be the cover of the new trade paperback.

Hm. I wonder... Given the credits, does the GI JOE/Transformers 2 tpb contain the Devil's Due material?

That and using the page count, it just looks to be the first 2 Devil's Due TPB collected.

Aww man, no credit for this?

Assuming the TF/GI Joe v2 is the Devil's Due stuff, I'll definitely be getting it. I already have the first DD miniseries in TPB, but haven't been able to find the second.

I tracked it down off of Amazon not long ago. The designs from the 2nd volume would make some cool 3rd party toys.

Volume 1, if I remember correctly, left out GI Joe #138. Why is it that this one is always forgotten? 139 makes no sense without it. Volume 1 should be scrapped. I'm sick of IDW's half-measure reprints.

Volume 2 and on: great. The Image/DDP series was awesome. I hope they include V2 #0.

Hmm...If I dont manage to find a set of these comics at AA this year, I'll have to get this TPB

Huh. Just noticed Megatron's stock is attached incorrectly on the cover art. Shouldn't it be attached on back/bottom of the grip and not the back of the slide where the hammer is? XD

That's not the cover Art, as mentioned in the news post.

Yeah, they should totally scrap an entire volume because they're leaving out an issue where the only TF-related content is four panels and one page And, not only that, but an issue that was reprinted very recently in GI Joe Classics v14. Personally, I'm happy to get a chance to pick up the Marvel TF/GI Joe miniseries, which hasn't been reprinted in 20 years, and wouldn't want to see the whole volume cancelled just because someone is getting butthurt about the omission of one issue with minimal relevant content.

Yeah, the stock should be under Cobra Commander's thumb, not above it. But, like ORIO said, that's not the cover art for the TPB itself; it's from one of the issues that is speculated to be contained within.
