I'm so glad we're getting more Drift stories

More like IDW meets TFP…

Seibertrons reviews are usually good. Tformers……(sigh)…..Sometimes I wonder if we were even reading the same damn books since I always disagree.
Because of this Gigatron just might be great. Either way I'm looking forward to both of these books tomorrow.

Alex said on Twitter that this was actually for something else that got canceled and it's being used here instead, so it might be that whatever was planned didn't involve any Armada characters.
Quizzical Xenon
That's Vanquish. A Decepticon Micomaster who made a brief cameo with his brother Fireshot in Windblade#4.
AlexaStar
Oh no, I understand that, believe me. Much as I detest IDW G1, seeing that did make me immensely happy.
But….this is supposed to be a 30th anniversary cover for the whole franchise. I would have liked at least one Armada character.
Ah well. It's a gorgeous piece anyway.
SpinalCord
Cool
Coffee
Yup, they shared a quick scene in #35.

Have we seen any of Chromedome and Rewind since they reunited? Love this comic, although I am slightly behind
Kraken
Dude, you've literally just had an issue with more Unicron trilogy cameo's than you can shake the biggest of big sticks at!
Wheeljack_Prime
Why do the colors feel so off in MTMTE36? Rung's almost BB yellow.
AlexaStar
Extremely disappointed that there isn't at least one reference to Armada in there. Sure, there's Hot Shot, but it's his Animated form (not that that's bad, I adore Animated, but still).
Should have swapped out Movie Starscream with Armada Starscream. He's the best thing about the show.
I shouldn't be surprised. At this point, I should well and truly be used to it. :/

Oh man the part when Megatron coughs and Rodimus clarifies Megatron had nothing to do with Brainstorm. The way Rodimus is laying back is hilarious and so in character.
That is awesome.
*sigh* what we could have had……I remember the plot for Dreamwave's Cybertron comic was going to be something along the lines of this.
We'll never get that ultimate crossover event will we. :/
Omegashark18
It's confirmed that his name is Gigatron. But so far he's proving very one dimensional. According to the Tformers review.
TF14
Gigatron's name is mentioned in the preview

I'm really looking forward to these.
I wonder if we'll get Gigatron's name in the upcoming issue, and I'm really interested to see how the Mtmte epic story continues.

Milne does really good with the Prime characters (what would Airachnid be like under Roberts ' pen?), TFA Bulkhead and Hot Shot, and Movie Blackout and Starscream. I just wish there was better representation for TFA, Beast Wars, and the movies.
I think I'd be okay with Milne doing a fourth season of Animated in comic form. But, no, instead we'll get more G1 asskissing. Not that I don't love MTMTE (nor is it said ass kissing), but I'm still burnt that we've gotten things like Regeneration One and the Acy trilogy instead of more TFA. But, that's an argument for another time.
johnbonhamatron
Weeeeeeeeell, Optimus and Grimlock are in their original G1 bodies, too, not their IDW forms, and Jazz almost looks like he's in his WFC/FOC body, so there's a bit of variance.
Knightsword
Yea he is, but it's animated Hot Shot.
