D-Drive has once again been nice enough to send over the Diamond Comics Shipping list for next week, February 25th. On tap next week for the Transformers is the following:
TRANSFORMERS DRIFT EMPIRE OF STONE #4 (OF 4) (also shipping subscription variant)
(W) Shane McCarthy (A/CA) Guido Guidi
FINAL FATE! This is it-DRIFT and RATCHET show down against the STONE ARMY! Will DRIFT rejoin the AUTOBOTS-or forge a new fate in the farthest reaches of the galaxy?
No mention in this listing regarding this weeks delays. Hopefully we’ll get some news on those issues soon!
DarkWarGrimlock
Is that a new Dinobot or just one of the really obscure ones that's been ressurected in the comics as the galaxy's biggest badass but with a heart gold?
LegendAntihero
I can't wait for the next issue of Drift. I hope the series wraps up nicely
SPLIT LIP
He was never a one-note joke character.
This post is a one-note joke character WHOOOOAAAAA Rektasarus Rekt welcome to Denny's how may I serve you oh wait I already did you just won the goal metal in gettin' rekt
DarkWarGrimlock
I hope if Drift returns to the Lost Light, he's not written as a one note joke character like he was previously in More Than Meets the Eye. Would love to see his interactions with Megatron.
SPLIT LIP
Whoa, you're opinion deviates from the norm, I'm so impressed! Truely you're unique among all others!
Megastar
What about MTMTE, other than being overrated?
Griffin73
That would be an interesting relationship to extract details from.
Digilaut
I'd love to see Drift return to the Lost Light. So they can all make jokes about his continuing shifts in personality.
Well ok, mostly because I think it would be really interesting to see his relationship with Megatron develop. After all, back in the day Drift signed up for the Decepticons as Deadlock, and was kind of used as a posterboy by Megatron. Their relationship would be different from all the other people on board as Drift then really is in no place to judge Megatron.
SPLIT LIP
Pretty much. He's salty that his oh-so-original character was written better than someone else, and not as a super-grim-serious-badass like he wanted.
He's kinda the epitome of petty when it comes to Drift.
Nah, the truth is out.
ezim93
I believe after the events of Remain in Light Rodimus disclosed he was the one responsible for Overlord and the vote was to see if he should remain captain. So really there's nothing preventing Drift coming back aside from this story.
Griffin73
Yeah, I was hoping for something a bit more enlightening with this title as well. I love Drift but this feels forced. I liked the storyline with Wing and I was hoping for more of a quest type feel for this one. Nope!
I'd like to see him take back the original quest to find the Knights of Cybertron and really come up with some answers, meet some new Cybertronians. They could have made him into the Indiana Jones of the TF universe. That's the direction they should gone with him.
Chopperface
The sooner it's over, the better. I have a suspicion that McCarthy will stop Drift from rejoining the Lost Light just to keep him away from a decent writer, he's proven to be that petty in the past. But, rest assured, I have faith that Roberts will override McCarthy.
Of course, Drift's return will not exactly come easy. I forget, is it public knowledge that Drift took the blame for Overlord? I think there was a vote in Dark Cybertron that had something to do with it all? I remember Orion ripping Rodimus a new one for the vote, but I don't know if Rodimus had come clean about exiling Drift or not.

Man, not even Angry Birds!!
UltraMagnus3786
I've gotta be honest, this series has been a big let-down. I love Guidi's art in AHM but I'm not really feeling it here, and though I liked Shane's previous work, this just doesn't vibe well with what's come before. His insistence on making Drift a badass and the center of the comic ("witty" lines, "cool" action sequences, etc.) has been tiring and drags on the comic.

But…but…but…MTMTE…
