TFW2005 boards member D-Drive is here once again bringing us the Diamond Comics shipping list for next Wednesday, August 27th. After a long and excruciating wait, the next issue of Transformers: More than Meets the Eye is finally upon us, and promises to bring the tears. Also coming to us is Transformers vs. G.I. Joe #2, and a figure of a certain freelance peacekeeping agent.
Read on for the full details, and discuss after the jump!
TRANSFORMERS MORE THAN MEETS EYE #32 (also shipping 1-in-10 and subscription variants)
(W) James Roberts (A/CA) Alex Milne
SLAUGHTERHOUSE! The crew of the Lost Light are used to past decisions coming back to bite them, but nothing-not even an ULTRA MAGNUS-certified crash course in the law of unintended consequences-could have prepared them for the horrors of Sector 113. Be warned: this issue is not for the easily distressed-or the easily heartbroken.
TRANSFORMERS VS GI JOE #2 (also shipping 1-in-10 and subscription variants)
(W) Tom Scioli, John Barber (A/CA) Tom Scioli
BOOTS ON THE GROUND! The war has begun-and no bars will be held! SCARLETT’s forces go head-to-head with MEGATRON’s hordes-and the most off-beat adventure in comic book history hits a new level of dangerous alliances, deadly invasions, and devastating betrayals!
HASBRO TOY GROUP
Marvel Comics’ Avengers are ready for action with Hasbro’s new 3 3/4″ Avengers Infinite Series Action Figures! These figures feature extensive articulation and detailing, and they come with accessories ready for battle! Figures include Platinum Hulk, Platinum Wonder Man, Death’s Head, Rocket Raccoon and Groot, Drax, and Star-Lord. Blister card packaging.

I think Joker's Child in NJ used to mail… but I'm not sure if they do anymore. There is probably a minimum purchase, likely with any store who will do that.

Saw that too. Just hope that isn't actually the cover…

Glad I could help. I still pick some trade paperbacks from time to time for the same reasons, plus a lot of times the trades have bonus materials that the digital trade versions don't. Not sure why though. But having recently got a new Ipad Air, the picture resolution is amazing that you don't get in print unfortunately. Everything is more vibrant. If they could only get that old comic smell. Cheers.

A little bit OT, but does anyone know if Diamond has released the date for Marvel Select Venom?

All I've seen apart from that cover of Magnus, Whirl, and others in a firefight is a black cover with white "TOP SECRET" text. Whether that's a cover or a placeholder image, I'm not sure.

That helped a ton. Digital is what I have now and it's so damn convenient plus I don't need to store them anywhere. I have to admit though I would love to get some hard copies… Something about holding them and reading them that way. It is a PITA compared to digital though.

Midtown comics do mail order. Um, Mile high comics I think do too. I use to go through midtown before I went full digital with my purchases, because I don't have any comic shops around me worth a flip, and I don't have to leave the house to pick them up. Only thing about Midtown is, if I remember correctly is don't expect your books to arrive on the day they come out. Hope this helps.

Is there an online retailer I can subscribe to have these mailed to me?

Anyone got a look at the SUB and RI covers for MTMTE #32?
