Transformers Animated artist TheBoo has updated his deviantArt page with the cover art for Animated: Arrival #6. The issue features the debut of Autobot twins Jetfire and Jetstorm and is scheduled for release this January!

Sweet! I'm really looking forward to seeing what the Jet twins characters are like.

I really hate the way Jetfire looks in that pic, Sentinel looks crappy too.

At least the real art is alot better.

No kidding. That mouth on Jetfire is terrible and Sentinel looks like ass. Jetstorm is okay, though.

I don't know what you guys are fussing about, but I think this cover is frickin' awesome! Far from 'looking like ass'.

We already saw a preview for 2 of TerraDestroyer's interior pages but I don't believe this cover was available online until now. Personally, I don't collect Transformers Animated toys but I planned to make an exception and buy the Jetfire & Jetstorm boxset if it contained an exclusive comic book. However, it seems only the cover will be different from the standard IDW issue in which case I don't need it after all.

By the way, aren't Jetfire & Jetstorm estimated to arrive way sooner than January 2009? BigBadToyStore says they'll be out in November 2008 while Entertainment Earth claims it arrives in December 2008 yet The Boo's deviantArt page suggests you can wait for the action figures to be released to obtain a special copy with his alternate cover. In most places, the toys will be on shelves weeks before Transformers Animated #6.

I stand corrected. So I take it this means Transformers Animated #6 will be available with 2 covers and the pack in comic from the Jetfire & Jetstorm boxset will feature yet another cover?

I don't know about these. They look cool, I'll have to wait and see.

This cover art is as bad as the art in the Ratchet story in issue 3 which was a shame cause the story was good.
Feralstorm:
The cover art looks decent to me, though the huge-ass digitally-added Autobot symbol on Sentinel throws things off more than a bit.
