Transformers: Robots in Disguise #32 30th Anniversary Cover by John-Paul Bove and Casey Coller

Posted on 08-18-2014 at 05:06 PM by Mechafire under Comics
tumblr_nad8ld3FiZ1rojbapo1_1280 IDW Transformers colorist John-Paul Bove has posted a new Transformers: Robots in Disguise #32 30th anniversary variant cover on his Tumblr. Drawn by Casey Coller and colored by John-Paul, the cover features Unicron, Optimus Prime, and Scorponok, among others:

"So finally I can reveal this cover and it is possibly my favourite single image I have worked on. This is one of my favourite moments in all of TF history and I wanted to have Unicron swept up in fiery hell and Optimus and Scorponok to be in a cool and contemplative hue. A still moment contrasted against a firestorm. Hope you dig it!"

"Possibly my favourite thing I have ever coloured. Hope you dig!"

Double iTunes Preview - More than Meets the Eye #32 & Transformers vs. G.I. Joe #2

TF_MTMTE_32_cvrA225x225-75 Apple's iTunes website has updated with the brief, 3-page previews for both Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #32 and Transformers vs. G.I. Joe #2:

Transformers: More than Meets the Eye #32
SLAUGHTERHOUSE! The crew of the Lost Light are used to past decisions coming back to bite them, but nothing—not even an ULTRA MAGNUS-certified crash course in the law of unintended consequences—could have prepared them for the horrors of Sector 113. Be warned: this issue is not for the easily distressed—or the easily heartbroken.

Transformers vs. G.I. Joe #2
BOOTS ON THE GROUND! The war has begun—and no bars will be held! SCARLETT’s forces go head-to-head with MEGATRON’s hordes—and the most off-beat adventure in comic book history hits a new level of dangerous alliances, deadly invasions, and devastating betrayals!

Both will be released on Wednesday, August 27, but if you don't mind some spoilers, you can check out the previews after the jump!
