TFC-004 Gears Of War Update!

hey guys~ here're some latest photos and new accessary of TFC-004 gear of war set , whicn include:

1. "invisible set" made of clear pvc, all hail G1!
2. rotae funtion adding on the launchers / combination playways of the lanchers / size comparison with orginal sample
3. 2nd revised sample of the ladder and auto-scout

and as an important update: each set will include 3 launchers now( red/black/silver)

Hmmm... I am slowly becoming more and more interested with each revision.

Very glad they shrunk down the guns a bit.. they were WAY huge in the first pics that turned up. I haven't heard of any kind of resolution to the whole "random colors" issue that cropped up. Did that get remedied in some way?

I have a high-speed connection and after 10 minutes only 3 images loaded.

dammit! and all i want is the cassette auto scout...do not want all those weapons and that ladder...UGH !

Okay... now those are looking tempting. Really impressed with the launcher system to create two styles with the same set of parts.

These pics are killin me but man this is good looking.

Okay, so... Am I looking at this right?

We'll get an all silver set (for Mirage)
A silver black silver set (for Sideswipe)
and a silver red silver set (for Red Alert)

The way it reads, if you want both Mirage and Sideswipe to have their guns, you can't because there's only one set of silver parts.

where can i see pics of the ladder fully extended and inferno in robot mode with the ladder?

I like that the Ladder matches the Henkei Inferno so well but I do have a couple of concerns - I'd actually have liked the ladder in alluminum color for Universe Inferno to help differentiate the 2 even more, and I do wonder where I can store the water cannon now ?

I like the launchers but They did raise some other thoughts - how about missiles that have a broad cuff at the base that matches the dimensions of Sunstreakers wrist cuff so you can put a missile in his wrist like the original 80's toy. and how about some vertical mortars for his shoulder rather than a missile launcher.

A clear weapon set might be partially useful for the Generations book Liger I suppose.

I notice that Takara rather foolishly didn't realise that Sideswipe should have retained his supercharger as it also functions as his jet pack in robot mode - so perhaps he needs a new jet pack ? I tried the THS-02 jet pack and it looks right but unfortunately does not fit.

That still annoys me that they left that off.

Since we are talking about weapons - what about Henekei/Classics Grimlock he's missing a few too.

Or Animated Grimlock - I'm sure the Animated Dinobots could do with some extra weapons.

On a general point how many of the people who have made a G1 style rifle for Classics Ultra Magnus (City Commander upgrade trailer) have also made the gun flippable so it can also be held by the plain white Magnus inner robot ? - I'm always mystified that feature of the original 1980's toy's gun is forgotten about.

That's what finding someone to split the cost with you is for. I don't give a rats a** about the weapons or ladder but I'm not about to pick up the whole set when all I want is the AutoScout.
Not that the weapons don't look cool. I think it's great that they scaled the size down to something managable for the figures even though my first personal choice is to go for the biggest gun I can lay my hands on (man I miss my assault shot-gun with hollow-point slugs), and I'm glad they resolved the color/selection issue with them. I just don't need that many more accessories to try to keep track off.

Oooo, why didn't I think of that? Maybe by attaching Hybrid Convoy's Jetpack directly onto Sideswipes...

Am I the only one who really liked the HUGE missiles they started out with? They were awesome! These new ones are great too, but I liked how massive the others were. They're robots! It's not like it'd be too heavy for them or whatever. I don't get what everyone was complaining about. Can you imagine how much cooler Energon Omega would've been if his claw hand was ginormous? Bigger is better! (but I'll take these new missiles, they're still cool)

these are buy the same guys that did battle rollar right? hope they improve the plastic quality while rollar was cool the plastic itself was kinda flimsy

hmm, not too sure about the "invisible" kit, but damn that inferno ladder looks awesome.

I don't even know what the invisible kit is... but I too liked the original 'oversized' launchers... especially on Mirage. Oh well, the 'blind-pack' idea for the revised launchers was dumb and I'm glad we get three full sets.

are 2 companys making those cassette drones? wow I never knew their was such demand for such a campy little thing.

BBTS has the set for $44.99. All I want is the launchers. If anyone gets the set, and doesn't want the launchers, PM me, and let's work out a deal. I'm sure I'm not the only one either.

I rather wait for the Igear, cause the cassette is all I'm interested in.

only question I have, how in the world do you remove the cannon piece on Inferno to exchange it with the ladder?
