Prototype San Diego Comic Con Exclusive Nemesis Prime With Red Windows comicconprimeproto2
TFW2005 has brand new images of the upcoming San Diego Comic Con exclusive Transformer, Classics Nemesis Prime. These are of a prototype, complete with "Not For Sale" stamped on it, and a white X to deface the figure. The biggest reveal here is that he has red transparent eyes and windows, as well as no silver stripes in Alternate mode.

Ktulu:
Yes gimme da red
heavymtl:
Is it possible this is a proto of the Botcon Prime? Besides having the Autobot logo, it also has that white "x" right where the crack is on Botcon Prime. Just a thought . . .
Dinobot Nuva:
Red windows=yes.

Not being an exact copy of Optimus Prime's deco scheme=very yes.

DN
smkspy:
It'd definitely be nice if one was Nemesis and the other was Nucleon Quest Prime.
ORIO:
Redline got his wish!!!! Haha!

He has magic powers! Quick! Wish me to win Powerball!!!

That being said... I can't wait to get RID Scourges sword into this bad mofo
SarahMobius:
Dammit I didn't want this thing until now -_- one more to hunt down...
twee:
so which one's going to end up being the final version? I'm spending my money regardless, but I'd rather it be on this.
saberconvoy:
The robot mode is cool but i wonder if he will have any thing to do with Botcon's theme this year.
Spider Striker:
I don't care which one we're getting. I need this mold in these colors! *giggles like a school girl*
$5HotRod:
I hope they go with the blue windows. Never liked the red ones.
G1Prowl:
I think they are both customs. It seems a little convenient that everyone's critiques about this exclusive have been added to the newest pics. I'll wait til it's actually released.
Shin Densetsu:
Wait a minute...the faction isn't wrong on that one, its NUCLEON QUEST CLASSICS CONVOY!

SDCC variant? Thats surprising.
SmokescreenGT:
The red windows look much better IMO. A definite must have for me.
taterx:
Damn I want that even more now, and that totaly is nucleon quest classics convoy.
Obvious Prime:
I hope that's not the SDCC exclusive. I hope he's a Henkei release, DO WANT.
G1Wheeljack:
This looks much better than the other version we saw.
shockwave2005:
Now THAT's what it should look like - aside from the faction symbols...although it would be waay cool if they were upside down Autobot symbols.
Shin Densetsu:
Hasbro SDCC variants are not out of the realm of possibility. Anyone remember gold headed Pimp Daddy Destro last year? This one seems to have tampo printed autobot symbols on the shoulders, and for a custom job, that would not only be impressive but I imagine time consuming. I think this is either a variant, test shot, or final production piece.

I am leaning on variant though. The mold is something most people already have, and those that do may have planned to pass on the one pictured initially with the blue and decepticon logos. A variant would spice things up though. In this case, it looks better.
Robogeek28:
I guess this one's for all the folks that were clamoring for red windows.
twee:
Hmm, if this IS a variant, I wonder if that means we can purchase three or four of each Prime, or whatever the limit is?
atomicthumbs:
I won't be able to make it to the con, so I'll be looking online. Hope it isn't too crazy expensive. Man, that red is SHARP!
ORIO:
If this IS a variant, this is the one I want. I will give him RID Scourges sword and blaster. But, how do I attach Scourges trailer to this mold? Anyone know an easy kitbash recipe?

Redline... I'm lookin at you
REDLINE:
squeeze the legs together with one hand, while drilling a hole in the middle of the square peg on Prime's legs where you'd expect the trailer to go (can't miss it). Just eyeball the peg on Scourge's trailer with a drillbit to get the right size. If necessary, you might have to either wallow-out the hole with the drillbit or with a blade to get it just right. Shouldn't take you 2 minutes.
thygriever:
not bad. I dig the red everywhere
SCOURGE33:
Man he does look great with in those colors, especially now with the red windows, guess if it's the final paint scheme I'll have to hunt him down.He will go well with Henkei Convoy!
Enigma2K2:
I'd rather have that Ultra Magnus armor kit.
Autovolt 127:
I wants one.
ultraconvoy:
so is this a SDCC release?

SDCC = Blue Windows Piping
Japanese exclusive = Red Windows Piping
Venksta:
Definitely won't be a Wonderfest exclusive, as the official last Wonderfest event just took place last week. The company behind it is stopping from having anymore. I guess this will be an exclusive through some other event or store in Japan.

Ehobby?
REDLINE:
I hope so. Blue windows and eyes hardly look evil to me.

You clearly don't know my ex-girlfriend.
Thundershot:
Hasbro - Decepticon symbols, blue windows.
Takara-Tomy - Autobot symbols, red windows.
Dark_Rage:
Who changed the thread title to "Wonderfest"? It's still not verified, and Wonderfest in Japan ended months ago (Held in late February, actually). Unless it is verified, then we'll have to wait until 2009 or find out what convention or method it's being released.

It might be possible that the Red window is SDCC and the Blue window is a Japan TRU exclusive like Nucleon Prime.
REDLINE:
At BC, Hasbro said theirs is the blue windowed one, so that was confirmed. This one is a Japanese release.

He's talking about it specifically as a Wonderfest exclusive. There's no proof where or when in Japan it'll be released.

Yup, as has already been said, Wonderfest already happened this year. Not unless it's Wonderfest 2009.
LigerPrime:
WHOA! He does indeed look cold but the window deco is abit cheesy IMO though! XD
