| shibamura_prime:
He looks incredible in truck mode. ^_^
Locustreign:
Oh god I need this. By far my favourite version so far of the mold.
Jeremy.B:
Yeah, I will have this.
Lupis Convoy:
I want... So... now to figure out how to get this.
Railguard:
Well intead of them coming out with all these gimicks and things, why don't they just finally come out with a Prime (in the new universe line, yes they could release the Prime they already produced I would not care and no do not make it exclusive to anyone anywhere) that actually COMES WITH THE TRAILER and as an extra, have his chest open up to reveal the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. Now that would be something that I would absolutley love to see but I don't think they would ever do. Hasbro (or whoever) you suck.
RobotoChan:
Looks fantastic !!!
I need three.
Does that say that it ships in July?
Also, any board members know if they take foreign credit cards but ship to Japan?

The limited amount that eHobby will have after the show will be part of a lottery in July. The winners are announced the 14th, so I assume it would ship immediately after.
Max-prime:
Def. In for this.

Hasbro (or whoever) you suck. | I find it funny when geewunners complain that something isn't G1 enough. Be happy that Hasbro AT LEAST made a flat nose red cab. I'd still enjoy TF's if Hasbro made Prime transform into an boat.
Oh, and not to mention that Fans Project is also making a Prime trailer, so there.
Powersa:
Takara is the best when it comes to clear TFs...this is awesome

If they did'nt care we would'nt get micromaster homage recolors or any classics at all. I understand that your post was meant to be entertaining. But I found it a bit irrational, sorry.
Their is going to be a prime on the shelf with the universe toys anyway. The 25th anniversay generation one reissue.

With trailer too SPLIT LIP:
Dude, that's COOL!
KING KONVOY:
This will be my seventh version of this mold including the two black repaints! I don't have clear omega prime or sonic convoy but at the rate my prime collection is growing...someone really needs to coin the term plastic crack.
Nightrain:
Beautiful. Definitely want.
kajobaldisimo:
i'm liking this like candy...
lars573:
It's not bad looking. But for the price it will command. Not worth it, to me.
REDLINE:
sucks hard that he will be so limited. Devastattor:
That's pretty awesome. I don't have a Prime (have UM) from this mold but it's probably going to be too pricey for me to justify right now.
Tenebrouser:
I would love this, but availability seems extremely limited. Whoever said they were getting three....good luck.

cool looking, no doubt. but not quite up there with nemesis or black convoy for me.
DisThunder:
It is neat looking, but it'll be awfully scarce for something I'm not sure I need. I don't know what his place would be in my collection, Ghostimus Prime, maybe?
soundwaveCA:
Ya Prime always looks good that way To bad he's going to be so limited, might have picked that one up if he was a decent price, oh well SDCC Nemmy Prime is good enough for me WhiteMocha:
It's weird how my opinions on transparent figures have totally changed over the years. When I first started collecting I thought they looked terrible, and was puzzled by how beloved they seemed to be by other collectors.
But somewhere along the way that totally changed... maybe it was the Club Exclusive combiner limbs, or BT Mirage, or just my own changing tastes, but now I really like them. And this figure is no exception... it looks like pure rock-candy goodness. I know it'll end up costing a mint, but if it's at all possible I'm going to try to obtain one of these.
Noisemaze:
This mold being repainted & re-released so often =
Dear God, give it a rest already! This is getting worse than Energon Arcee.
REDLINE:
except its a MUCH cooler mold than the Arcee mold, which greatly reduces the sting. besides, this is a convention exclusive, not a mass-release, so its hardly the same thing.
UltraDevmodious:
Already have a classics prime…though translucent plastic is cool….who gives a shit anymore?! Lawl.

Why this is going to be such a limited release is beyond me. Lord knows just about everyone and their mommas is gonna want to buy one of these. I can understand who-gives-a-shit characters that no one has ever heard of being limited, but a Prime should for everyone. Quote:

Hasbro Classics Prime
Hasbro Classics Ultra Magnus
Henkei Prime
Henkei UM
Exclusive Ehobby Prime
5 releases, two for each company and one exclusive. Hardly beating a dead horse IMO.
justamaze:
Looks nice and crystal clear. Needs a nice black light behind it.

Don't forget Shattered Glass Prime and 2008 SDCC Nemesis Prime
Brunkion76:
To all who love the clear stuff, best of luck getting this thing,I just do not understand the whole clear figure addiction.I feel this Prime is horrible looking, and i'm not a huge fan of repaints or exclusives either.I have a hard time getting repaints that are being passed off as new characters as it is.
Easy pass for me.
Blue Meanie:
Must get this at any cost.
Kingplay:
i wonder if it would break $150 = =

True, so that leaves 4 regular releases and 4 exclusives. Still not being a dead horse I say...esp considering 3 of those exclusives will be/ are pretty rare.
Feralstorm:
Can't say I've ever been a fan of 'crystal' or translucent versions of toys, but at least I like 'em better than fully clear versions. Guess I just don't care for looking at little screws and metal pins floating in the middle of my robots. dark69:
man wish hasbro did more clear toys i love that
REDLINE:
I wish Hasbro just made some. I don't know of any they've made since Energon Starscream, who's only partially clear.

REDLINE:
that was fun publications though, technically, not Hasbro. (Mirage)
Gryph:
Am I the only one who thinks it strange that the first clear Henkei toy isn't Starscream? Convoy is still awesome, though.
I wish Hasbro would do some more clear transformers.

And I've seen it said many times on this boards that Convoys sell better in Japan than any other figure. I have nothing on which to base this, but I kinda think of them as "Afterlife Prime," after he dies and gets absorbed into the crystalline structure of the Matrix.
(Well, that or "Saccharine Prime," the accidental result of scanning a Jolly Rancher factory.)
I bet Henkei Ghost Starscream will show up one day, as well.
