| New Images Of Transformers Henkei Hot Rodimus |

The Japanese release of this figure features a paint scheme more reminiscent of Generation 1 Hot Rod.

I was worried about the gold spoiler, thought it might be tacky looking, but that is a really nice figure!!!! Can't wait to get it!!!!

I was thinking. Wouldnt be cool if the same people who are producing the Ultra Magnus kit, would make a trailer for him to become Rodimus Prime. Atleast in vehicle mode.

But if I were hankering for that G1 effect, I'd choose the Reprolabels option. The thing I don't like about the bonnet deco on the Henkei version is that you've got the orange section on the chest, but the flames printed straight onto red on the tops of the arms - and it just looks inconsistent to me.

They lost the trademark to the name "Hot Rod", or it was too generic a name to copyright if memory serves, so they called him Rodimus. Exactly the same reason for Octane being called Tankor.

I am a big fan of Rodimus toys but I have to pass on this one since I already have the Hasbro version. Between the Animated, Classics 2.0, and all those Seekers from Henkei, MP, Titanium that I have to get so.. no money left for this.  AutobotMarine:
