| New Images Of City Commander Upgrade Set For Classics Ultra Magnus |

The images show some of the packaging, as well as the final painted version of the custom trailer.

According to the e-mail BBTS sent out today. They are getting these in late September, and they are getting one and only one shipment and once their pre-orders are sold out thats it. So if you thinking about getting it, decide soon.

Has anyone actually handled one of these to see just how restricting the armor is? To me, it looks like he won't be able to move hardly at all and that would suck.

So no worries about having a brick.

Well, it might not have been tfsource, but there was SOME online place that offered the set of the City Commander armor WITH the Ultra Magnus fig. I'll try to find it.

Curt from TFSource confirmed it wasn't them. I KNOW I saw it. The site had a black background, and the set wth Magnus and the Armor was like $129 or $139. Gah, it's driving me nuts. I'm guessing as a set, they'll knock off $10 or so? Maybe $120 or so?

Yeah, I didn't get any indication as to price. Still, having seen Magnus alone go for near that, the two-pack doesn't seem too bad, and it helps people nab a Magnus with the armor, guaranteed to show up at the same time as the add on

Im guessing the cost to repackage him would out weigh the amount of people who would buy him since many people already nabbed the UM vs SW 2-pack during the classics release, and on the secondary market.

Fiscally, it makes no sense for Hasbro to do that at all.
I just meant it's a shame for us. 
Although in retrospect, most of us had our shot to grab UM in either one of those two packs, and since it passed I'm a little pissed with myself that I didn't grab the Skywarp one...

Finally i reserved a piece for myself (after mulling abt it for many many months) & i also got the two-pack UM & OP on clearance yesterday at a local dept store.
Thankfully the wait is one or two more weeks to go
(As for the Classics OP heh i'll be selling it off to my friend over the weekend. so nothing's wasted after all  )

To bad they didn't show any pictures of the comic and instructions I got to write. Atleast they showed off the license plate design. The tiny text on the bottom of a few of those designs says "Consistency is Victory", from the old G1 toy's bio. Bot City refers to Autobot City.
One thing I find funny is the last photos have City Commander and Cliffjumper w/kit, both by FansProject. But then they put MP Starscream with the Coronation Kit, which isn't by FansProject.
