Looks great and I'm definitely looking forward to the release of this item. My only issue, and it's not a major concern, is that I wish the huge gun split up into a couple of more reasonably sized weapons, or had a tripod or something. I can't see Magnus' elbows being to keep that thing held up very well.

I'm so glad I've got this on pre-order from months ago.

I simply can't wait. Once it arrives, the Display spot for Ultra Magnus will be replaced by Nemesis Prime!

Yeah, I think the big gun and the exhaust pipe gun from Um proper will be set to the side when in Robot mode, with Magnus holding his white roof gun.

One of the online sites (TFSource?) Has a pack of the City Commander armor with the Magnus figure, but it's something they're packing together themselves.

I've seen a gray prototype in person and it was awesome. The coloured version is even more fantastic. Glad I pre-ordered, cannot wait for this guy...

Looks cool. If I had an Ultra Magnus, and enough extra cash, I'd get this. Though the BFG seems a bit unnecessary, imo. I'd put it aside with some other extra parts I have from TF's (Movie Ratchet's roof rack, Movie Blackout's tail section, and RID Ruination's extra parts for examples).

Methinks the BFG has different modes. There are pics with the gun in a different position than that of the one posted on BBTS.

Either that or it's just mistransformed.

i have waited many moons for this update, this guy looks ill. when wave three of TF universe comes out i will have cyclonus blasting UM to little pieces. its a shame that he always looks like he's hopping from one foot to the other, i assume the original UM legs werent designed to be that far apart.
get em while theyre hot, the cliffjumper upgrade set will run you $200+ in any ebay store youre lucky enough to find one in. cant imagine what this will cost after its sold out....

I noticed that too. The arms are also posed incorrectly, at least according to every photo we've seen previously.

That is a really, really nice piece, but the price is very, very steep What is that gun supposed to be anyway, is it fan created or something shown in the comics or in the Japanese version of Transformers? It looks like a G1 Megatron...

Its just something they made up with since there's a bunch of left over parts.

Its not just something made up from the left over parts. The designers are big fans of japanese mechas. So its something they designed into their City Commander. And the BFG has two modes. Its funny, people just noticed now. The long version is the "cannon mode". The flipped up mode, shown on the BBTS update, is the "rocket launcher" mode.
