MP-07 Thundercracker, New Henkei, Nissan GT-R Solicited for October & November

Well that's it! I'm selling my PS3! I never play it, (only my 360 or MGS4) and Thundercracker, bluestreak and Ratchet and Ironhide must be bought!!!

As far as we know, the next one after Thundercracker (MP-08) will be Grimlock, which will mean we'll finally get a new Masterpiece mold. Here's hoping Hasbro releases him here in the states, and not as a Walmart Exclusive. If he ends up as any kind of store exclusive, I'd much rather have him sold as a Target Exclusive.

Well I think MP Thundercracker was inevitable and I, for one, am quite happy to hear it. Now i just have to figure out what to do with my original MP-03 SS. I've got the Hasbro one, so MP03 is rather redundant now. Anybody want him? He's only been displayed and TF'd a couple times.

My guess is that they're going to do with Universe Ratchet what I hoped they would have done with Alt Ratchet if they ever made him: change him from an ambulance to a modern EMS vehicle (which are usually SUV's). This mold definitely allows for it, so my fingers are cross that that's the direction they take since, as you said, an SUV ambulance doesn't make any sense.

And honestly, I wouldn't be too surprised if they still used this mold for a potential Trailbreaker repaint/remold as well.

The last two are the same mold (Thundercracker might have a new face like Skywarp did), but MP-5 was Megatron and MP-4 was Convoy Complete. Starscream was MP-3. Unless you count the white Starscream released in the US packaging.

I for one am glad they are doing Thundercracker. Now that they have him done, they can concentrate on a new figure.

Is it bad that because of the news of THUNDERCRACKER being made into a Masterpiece figure, I finally bought Masterpiece SKYWARP because although I could stand having only 1 of 2 Masterpiece seekers, I couldn't stand having only 1 with the full trio available? Ugh, I'm weak.

will Hasbro release a Universe Ratchet? if not I'll have to buy the Henkei one! and MP Thundercracker is a must buy for me! was kinda hoping the next MP was an Autobot since the Cons are out numbering the Bots!

I was hoping MP-07 was Grimlock, I guees he'll be 08. Hopefully with Ironhide coming out in Henkei in October, we'll be getting the classics version sooner than I expected, either way I'll be getting whichever comes out first.

This is probably the longest since the last MP was released. Glad its back in the game!

Hasbro will release a Ratchet for universe after animated Ratchet has left the shelves.

MP-09 Grimlock better get here damn fast! How the hell does it take them a year to release another f*cking repaint?! Before I didn't mind the seeker repaints, but now I am pissed.

I'd be willing to take that bet, as there is probably less than 1% chance of that happening...ever, nevermind as MP-8.

For some reason people think that Takara likes to release Sunstorm figures. They've only released the one. The original. No Henkei, no Robot Master, no Galaxy Force, no Superlink, no Masterpiece. They did release Hasbro's Titanium (as a direct import like the USA Editions).

Hasbro on the other hand has released Universe, HOC, Titanium, Cybertron Minicon, and Cybertron LOC (there might be more I'm forgetting).

Plus, have you seen Takara's other Masterpiece Seekers (Starscream & Skywarp)? The even changed their schemes to be more realstic, what do you think they'd do to an orange (or by Hasbro's standards, yellow) jet? If the image on Skywarp's box is any indication than Thundercracker will be a very dark blue to match the "realism" of the other two.

So finally a new Binal Tech mold, in both red and silver, wonder who it's supposed to be?

I really hope they do something special next year for the 25th anniversary because 2008 has been a complete bust for me. There's nothing coming out this year that interests me except Universe Powerglide & Silverbolt. This year is the worst since Beast Machines.

Guess I'll really have no use for the MP-03 SS anymore since it was a TC placeholder anyway. I'm just so happy the MP/BT line will be continuing.

This is officially awesome - about Thundercracker and the new Binaltechs. My only hope is that they get released in the USA, as I'd rather keep with my all-plastic Alts.

The Henkei ones are cool too, but so far I haven't been thrilled enough with their changes on most to purchase the same figure again. I've only bought Thundercracker and Skywarp, Starscream to match, and Astrotrain.

Oh, and 500th post! Only took me two and a half years!

No we're not. I won't buy it. Repaints are one thing; $100+ repaints are entirely another.
If it is, it won't make it into my collection either. I hate Sunstorm.

Not really thrilled abt the news of MP-07 being TC but at least the masterpiece line is continuing.

I was really hoping for a Grimlock b'coz there's been only one original autobot mold in the line so far.
