Whoo! That's our first confirmation of a Classics Ratchet too! Looks as though the first three are our wave 3 - Lambor (Sideswipe), (Silverblue)streak and Ironhide. I wonder if he will come to the states - I think he might be a store exclusive in the US since there's an Animated Ratchet on shelves. Of course by the time he makes it it would be Christmas, so maybe that's a nonissue.

Thundercracker! NICE!! I'm looking forward to that. We're getting Ironhide and Ratchet, as well. That's going to be an awesome month for TF fans.

Then Universe releases some fab figures that are must haves.
Now we get MP 'Cracker and a bunch of other, new, Japanesey, classics.

My wallet really cannot handle this

Now take into account my OCD level of misb collecting and the fact that I also like to open figures (meaning two of each) and I may have to sell body parts to afford all this

Well, Takara rep at Botcon said it'd only be a matter of time before we saw MP Thundercracker, and Grimlock didn't they? So hopefully we'll hear more about Grimlock for a early/mid 09 release?


Had Takara previously announced Prowl/Sunstreaker for Henkei, or are they oddly shipping later than the rest of the Henkei crowd?

Dammit, I knew this was going to happen.

I know Ratchet's going to just be a repaint/remould of IH, and that sucks. Not taht being a remould isbad, but Classics IH is just so much fail and I like Ratchet a lot.

Brand new mould never before released. IH was presented at BotCon.

I'm curious about the Henkei version of Ironhide, because doing the usual G1 paint job on the Universe mold might come off...strange, wouldn't it?

I'm not interested in the Henkei or GT-R stuff, but really glad to hear that MP Thundercracker is going to be made. Now, I can cancel my pre-order for Henkei Thundercracker; if I'm going to spend that much money for a Thundercracker figure, to get a complete set of Seekers, it might as well be the high quality (and free of that godawful chrome) Masterpiece version.

First of all: Masterpiece Thundercracker! I mean, yeah, I know he's a repaint, but Seekers are one of the few repaints I don't mind too much. Though it does mean I'll have to wait a little longer for MP Grimlock...

Secondly, please please PLEASE let this Nissan GT-R be a new BT. The fact that they've used a licenced vehicle leads me to hope...

Yay Henkei

I was really hoping MP-07 would be a new figure, I am sick of repaints. I only have Greenscream and US Starscream, and I refuse to own 4 of a $100 figure. Good news for those of you who wanted him though.

Did they change the lineup? I was under the impression that Grimlock would be MP-07, and that Thundercracker would follow him.


Also, does anyone else suspect that Ratchet might just be an Ironhide repaint?

the nissan is die-cast so it has to be a binal ....right?

Another MP repaint? I know TC is a popular character, but a new MP mold would be nice. Well, maybe Grimlock will be MP-08. *crosses fingers*

I hope the Nissan GT-R will be in the BT line. I would love to see a new mold there, as well.

MP Thundercracker = my favorite seeker gets the mp treatment, i cant wait! The Henkei and GT-R sound pretty cool too, im never gonna be rich with all this comin out

I was kind of hoping that they would have thrown us a curveball with the Classics Ironhide mold and repainted it into Trailbreaker instead of the usual Ratchet redeco.

MP-07 being Thundercracker is no surprise at all since it's an easy repaint. I'm happy we'll finally be able to complete the MP Seekers, though it seems odd that we have to wait until November to do it. Hrmph. Still hoping for some news on that rumored MP Prime vs Megatron giftset.

Man..I was hoping that I could put off getting MP SW for a bit....but now with the news of MP TC coming soon...I'm going to have to bump him up the list. Also I'm going to have to wait and see the paint apps differences in those Henkei before I get them.

If there are two Universe figures that really cry out for the Henkei chrome treatment, they are Sunstreaker and Octane (hmm, and are they actually calling him "Octane?" Cool!). I hope it is applied in the right places!

I agree with Incepticon, I would have rather seen Ironhide given a new head as Trailbreaker.... only because an ambulance SUV is illogical. But of course Ratchet was a no-brainer, and I'll still be glad to have a version of him for Universe. And the robot mode still looks right for him, of course. I hope between the U.S. and Henkei editions there is both a white-head and red-head version.

Soooo glad MP-07 is Thundercracker and not Grimlock. It'll be good to get the three obvious Seekers out of the way before moving on to other molds. Between Thundercracker and the U.S. Presidential Election, November will be an exciting month for me.

And the GT-R? Intriguing! Sure seems like BT is the likeliest line for it, given the previously-seen silhouette and the focus on very specific licensed vehicles (after all, Universe Prowl is never called a Nissan Z). It'll be cool to see who the character will be. A Bumblebee/Cliffjumper mold would certainly be welcome, and fill a gaping hole in the Alt/BT lineup. I could also see it being Runamuck/Runabout or a Stunticon. Or maybe it'll be something out of left field, like Laserbeak. Fun to speculate!

The GT-R gives hope to new BT molds but I wont hold my breath. It's certainly a nice thought, though.

How does the GT-R match up to that "coming soon" silhouette that was shown with the BT reissues a short while back?

mp cracker is very dissapointing. of course he was inevitable but out of 7 mp's we've gotten 3 molds. 3 primes including albino prime,megatron,and now the 3 seekers. the variety in this line is beyond pathetic. the one positive is we'll be done with the 3 seekers after this and hopefully get some new blood in here.

looking forward to seeing the Henkei figures, so far they've done a great job (other than the occasional nonsensical chrome like on the seekers) but chrome wheels on the Lambo bros (as well as getting both at the same time) could put these right over the edge ~ and i want to see what they do with Ratchet...

Neat. I think I might actually have to pass on MP07 though...is the mold really worth a 3rd (or 4th for some) go at $100+ a pop...and with so much TF coming out this year...hmmm

Oh my god.....my dream has finally come true with a recent Nissan vehicle being a Transformer...and I was happy that prowl resembles a 350Z in toy and comic form....but now a GT-R, Giggity goo!
I'll buy two XD one for home and one to take to work at my Nissan dealership.

Surprised a few of you were expecting a Trailbreaker out of the Ironhide mold. I would like a different mold for 'breaker personally. He's in need of some love and his own mold (with the inevitable Hoist remold)
