The head does seem to clash a bit with the rest of the armor. Seems a bit too detailed compared to the smoother surfaces of the armor.
Definitely like the sword, gun and missiles!

Eh, I'm leaning towards a pass. The head isn't working for me, the sword seems irrelevant (unnecessary?) for City Commander. I appreciate the size of the gun, but I wish it sat in his fist a little more securely. The shoulder missiles are a neat, but like the gun, I need to see them in color first.
IF the gun and missiles look decent, and the kit is no more than $30, I'll consider it.

I wish the eyes were a bit larger too, but oh well, it certainly does not have a wicked smile, and I know I couldn't do better...it is a great kit, head, missles, gun, and sword, and at least i-gears seems like they keep trying to improve their work/craftsmanship (ex: the gear of war changes), so this set should equal massive win

You know the Guns and the missles and even the sword. those are things that were left out of City Commander, but each time I see a new head it says to me "Thanks for all your hard work...we just thought it wasn't hard enough, and instead of making our own kit we'll just do an upgrade piece for your upgrade piece."

where do these pieces come from exactly? All made by igear? I cant help but feel that this is an attempt to jump on the success of the city commander set for $$ and milk it for all it's worth. Something doesnt seem right with these pieces, The missiles are the only thing worthwhile in the set. They sould sell them for $10 and they'd probably make more money.

The head is certainly better than the other set... but then again, we haven't actually seen the production version.
It's definitely a good effort, but it's trying to grab a niche market of a niche market.

none of the heads that have come out for city commander as an add on i feel have worked. The way they stylized the armor no one has mimicd well enough to translate that into a head for it. I really think the original add on is quite good on its on i only really want shoulder rockets. That said depending on price i may go for this just for that and possibly the gun.

Now, you wanna make an accessory/weapon pack for CC, thats fine with me. I already got my G1 launchers, all i need is a decent rifle for Magnus and i'm good to go.

upgrade for an upgrade.... right.... ok. first of the head is fine as it may be a bit squarer in the face thats all it realy needs. so head is pass. secondly the sword is a "what the point" kinda thing, ultra magnus need no sword, plus it looks like a longer version of the altonator version mustang sword just with the wrecker symbol so that a waste. thirdly, yes the the set lacks shoulder missles but a g1 set would work fine even if it needs a little modding and would be cheaper. lastly the gun is ok but I don't like guns that cut off quite short after the hand peg it just looks off to me. this set = fail

The head doesn't really do anything to change the aesthetic of the first one IMO. o_O Sword seems...well, I have no idea why he has it. Gun looks weird, like he's holding it way too low on the handle.

Overall still wishing iGear had gone for something not so derivative as one of their first outings.

Hmm, a mixed bag really... dubious about the notion of "A upgrade kit for an upgrade kit", but there you go.
The head is fugly, doesn't even suit the City Commander set... The gun and missiles are quite nice though, they would be worth getting. But that sword just doesn't go with it at all... I say file down the Autobot symbol on the hilt, paint it a little and give it to Classics/Henkei Megatron! That would look nice I think... That is, if I could ever afford the set.

The head is... bleh. Not really cause it sucks, it just clashes with the rest of the armor. The gun seems like a nice copy of Magnus gun, but it doesn't work with the armor FOR ME.
The sword and missles however = SWEET.

I like the rockets and the gun. Coudn't care less about the sword and I'm indifferent on the head. As ever, price will be a deciding factor (if it's something daft like $40 then forget it) but if it was reasonable, I'd give it a shot.

after seeing the head painted, i think it is too detailed for this mold, but still skillfully crafted.
sword i don't know why he has one. he would be better with a removable set of orange transparent goggles for the head, instead of the sword.
if it's under 30$ i will pick it up though, for the gun / missile upgrades.
