Not bad, but I prefer the universe version by far.

I can barely remember how the Classics Ratchet was different, but it looks like it's just chrome lights & gun/stabby-stabby end.

No reason for me to not get Classics. Though I'm sure I'll be doing the same slight mistransformation to keep him from checking out his own boobs.

Not folding the wheels all the way back under the backpack, but leaving them out to the side.

wow, if thats a prod version that looks so much more impressive than universe ironhide, i like the mould but universe ironhides plastic colours and lack of detail made him look incredibly cheap.

Ha! I knew that the other prototype was the Universe version. Henkei version is more beautiful... and he comes out a month earlier. Glad I kept him on preorder.

I think Ratchet needs a face remold.
To me he looks like Ironhide pretending to be Ratchet.

Wow, a Henkei I actually REALLY want! Nice use of chrome, though I will be painting the head to my liking.

Damn, thats nice. Too bad its about 3 times the cost of the Universe one. So, I'll stay with Uni even though it has a bad color scheme.

I'll definitely take the Universe one. Even if the colors are reversed on the head... But it's better than the cartoon head.

I definitely prefer this to the Universe version. It's cleaner, without that random red trim on the legs. And Ironhide/Ratchet's weapons looks great in chrome (especially with the red scalpel).

I was hoping that ONE of them would have a red head, but I can live without it. The white head helps distinguish him more from Ironhide, I suppose. And I got my red-headed Ratchet fix from Animated and movie Rescue Ratchet.

I didn't even notice the Universe version was a much uglier eggshell white until I put the photos side by side. I still love that license plate homage, but am in for the Henkei most definitely.

The Takara version looks REALLY good, but I'm sticking with Universe for price and red-crest (not accurate, but I prefer it like TFA Ratchet).

I'm still not convinced the Henkei version will actually be glaringly bleached eggshell white; On one side you've got a poorly lit Classics, on the other side a brightly lit, likely photoshop-enhanced Henkei. It will probably be the exact same white in the end, and probably be just as poorly painted as all of the Prowl variants -- milky, watery white paint on dingy white plastic, with occasional reports of sticky paint apps. Mark my words.

...and just for the record, remember that removing the red front bumper thing is super easy and does not detract from the transformation mechanic in any way... if it was bothering you like it bothers me.

You'd be amazed how easy it is to find the extra space and money for Henkei when you pass on a few voyager and ultra repaints.

Already pre-ordered and I don't regret it. Classics version just looks bleh.

I had cancelled my preorder for this guy, but now that I've seen those pics I may have to reconsider my decision.

cool, Yes it was bugging the crap out of me. Henkie loves to chrome stuff, but when given a chance to chrome something that is often chrome, they skip or forget. They did it here with Ratchet's grill guard, and on IronHide, and then on inferno they could have chromed the crap out of him, but didn't. somebody needs to take Hendei on a tour and show them what can be chrome and what can't.

that's just amazing! totally worth the extra when Takara puts the love of the character into it. i knew this would worth it when i preordered it months ago.

Anyway, Henkei Ratchet looks awesome as always.
