Both Henkei exclusives, Thrust and Dirge, have been delayed. ToyHobby & Ganbo Store notified people via email that their stores' exclusive figures are going to be released in April.
ToyHobby gave a little more detail and explained that they are hoping to ship Dirge by the beginning of April. No further information from Ganbo, but they probably are shooting for the same for Thrust. The reason for the delay was not given, but production, packaging, and shipping can sometimes be a factor.

Eh, this works out to be a little better for my wallet so I'm good.
Robogeek28:
Eh, what's another few weeks at this point?

...Or perhaps resources are being directed towards movie toys.
Switchblade:
Takara Tomy toys? Delayed? How can this be!?
Mumps:
So... is this being delayed so the price can be reduced? Or am I just destined never to have a Henkei or Classics Thrust and Dirge?
Dinobot Nuva:
Decided to pass on these, save more money for this summer.
SPLIT LIP:
Everything TF from Takara gets delayed nowadays.
miscreant:
More pointedly: Takara handle production for Hasbro's Transformers as well.
So, odds are they're prioritizing movie toys above everything else. As such, don't be surprised if these (limited/small production run) items are delayed again.

Ah well, I preordered these in like November, so what's another month? I have patience, I can wait.

Seconded. What's another week or two after waiting this long. No problem on my end at all.
DigitalDreamer:
yea not really a big deal, it gives us more time.
Tekkaman Blade:
Good, I could use a short break. I'm been terrified all my late pre orders would come in at once. If they came in when their supposed to this wouldn't be a problem.
Lbsammills51:
Hmm...a little annoying, but if it's only a few weeks than I'm not too worried about it. I was hoping they'd come together with MP Grimlock (I preordered them at the same time) but oh well. As long as I get them, I'll be happy.
Railguard:
Huh, doesn't matter to me, I have no money to get anything anyway.

Nope. The factories in China are sub-contractors hired to produce a certain toy line.
soundwaveCA:
I wouldn't mind the delay so much if MP Grimlock wasn't bundled with the same order

same here.
Johnator:
Eh it is almost the end of March right now anyway. I can wait another week or two.
keebs:
At least they're not made by Justitoys. It could be 2011 before we see them
Paladine:
Here's hoping the delay is due to mold repair. I don't want side arm missiles that fall out.

It's fairly well known that toy companies don't actually own the factories in which their toys are made.
Was it not said somewhere that Takara are in charge of picking which factories Hasbro's Transformers production is sub-contracted out to? Even if that's not the case, i still believe it's a case of production of more widely available transformers being prioritized over more limited ones.
lars573:
Well
I never heard that (for as little as that means

). But when you consdier the co-production that Transformers has always been. Who knows who actually awards the manufacturing contracts.
Ricochet:
I got a mail last night, says that Gentei Dirge had shipped. probably I can grab him today or so.
megatronkicksas:
*sigh* Well that sucks.
DJCHARTERS:
im confused then, has henkei dirge been released? just with him saying it had been shipped
Mr.Roboto:
I just got my set today from Bodhar. They look pretty badass.
