The box says 'Destron', not 'Destroyon' and that's what the Decepticon faction is called in Japan.
Thanks for the review, though.

Lumpy:
man, astrotrain's train parts stand out so much more in spaceship mode then the american release, but i'm definately getting this guy as i am an astrotrain nut...
Another great review, won't have mine soon, but still can't wait to get him
ranoobu:
I never got a chance to own the hasbro release. And since this is anime accurate, might as well fork over an extra 10+ bucks
Feralstorm:
I think this is the only "gotta have" Henkei toy for me. All the others I could take or leave (Megatron included)
I like your line "I think this is the most G1-accurate version, moreso than the G1 toy." I know what you meant by it, but it's still funny to hear.

I'm glad you knew what I meant I was talking about accurate to the G1 Cartoon.

Glad you like that line

The only bad thing about the Henkei recolors is that they lead to more needless Hasbro bitching, OH TEH NOES THEY NEVAR DO ANYTHING RIGHT, WHAT A BUNCH OF BASTARDS, I'M MAD ABOUT TOYS RARGHHA
NOT YOU GUYS THOUGH, so far, but I noticed a rather bitchy comment on Sean's video. But hey, that's every Youtube video isn't it?
...though I can't say much really, I have bitched about Universe Galvatron a bit heh

THANKS BRO!
Yea I notice the comment.
I think Hasbro don't suck for not making "the first time" type of thing. I think of when they release the Movie Line and Classics Lines then they release The Premium Line and The Henkei Line it's a response to fans who either want a more accurate, detailed, or better quality version of the toy and didn't like the toys in the first place. I know many people who are getting Premium Movie Leader Megatron for they didn't like Movie Leader Megatron Colors. So I think it's a good idea for what they are doing.
Except with Repaint lines cuz other lines like Animated and Universe to come out way later
Johnator:
I really love this toy. Can't wait to get mine.
Railguard:
Now why can't Hasbro (or whoever) bring out our toys with the correct color scheme the first time?

People who respond to youtube videos are, for the most part, not the sharpest of sporks to begin with. Got to love how a video clip of an old Popeye cartoon degenerates into political name-calling and internet toughguy threats. And of course, any TF-related video HAS to have Movie bashing, regardless of a little thing called context.
Hey,Sean, does it seem the chrome parts on Astrotrain might suffer breakage where they connect to the figure?
Tenebrouser:
Dildotrain looks a lot better in the show-accurate colors.

The Chrome Parts hold their own. It's very durable
Yea I totally Agree on the Youtube thing!

I just wanna know what the exclusive seekers are gonna be. I must have them, regardless.

Hey Sean, do you think you could take a picture with him, OcTankor, and Blitzy? Pweese?

Ah, but which is the "correct" color scheme?
The last released (non-exclusive) Astrotrain toy was the Commemorative reissue, which was white and black, which was the colors of the early Japanese G1 release (and presumably what it would've looked like if released under the Diaclone banner.
The US (and later Japan) release of G1 Astro was light gray with black and dark purple. It's actually quite close to Hasbro Classics' color scheme, though Classics bleaches out the light gray.
Then there's real Space Shuttles. Trains can be found in a variety of colors, but I've never seen a gray (light or dark) shuttle. Never seen an olive drab one either, but that's for another time.
Don't get me wrong, I like the Henkei Astrotrain scheme the best. Just saying that there's a lot of options for where they could've gone with the color, especially if one doesn't see the cartoon colors as the only option (and considering the differences between Classics molds and G1, there's little reason to feel bound)
Fosterlager:
I had to put my Shattered Glass toys in a desk drawer because I just got Henkei Astrotrain and he's just too to share desktop space with anyone else. I couldn't tell from any of the advance release photos or from packaging, but Astrotrain's chest plate is chromed as well as the rockets. This is hands down my favorite TF to date this year!

Woo, really? Awesome.
Wish mine would hurry up and get here. We need a disappointed mailbox smiley.

They look so awesome together. Too bad Blitzy's twice their size.
REDLINE:
Blitzwing sure is out of place the head especially, but you can certainly notice the must lower detailing as well.
