HenKei! C-05 Hot Rodimus to Have Chrome Spoiler hotrod
Reports are coming in that the June copy of Dengeki Hobby magazine has indicated that the Japanese Classics HenKei! C-05 Hot Rodimus figure will come with a chromed spoiler. Stay tuned to TFW2005, we'll let you know when images become available.

if they're talking about the two side clip spoiler parts on classics rodimus, i don't know if that's really a good idea. they're constantly rubbed/moved and partly obscured, i would think that this would actually harm the wings.

Henkei Hot Rodimus. And you can chrome the whole top surface and have no worry about wear, only part that wears is the vertical pieces that sit between the legs in car mode.

Stupid chrome spoiler on Hot Rodimus will be as scary as the chrome grill on Henkei Convoy which I'm positive will snap off if I attempt to bend it into it's proper position in robot mode.

Roddie had BETTER be pink-ish, otherwise I won't be buyng him.

what does that matter if his spoiler is still orange? *L* He won't be show accurate either way. And you shouldn't worry about the grill on Prime, that thing is solid.

But then the chrome will only show in car mode. Robot mode shows the underside of the spoiler if you look at it from the front.

they can chrome the whole top surface(above and below) and it won't have any wear. all the wear is on the vertical pieces, not the horizontal ones.

Is this the first time a single paint app has been considered front page news? Anyways, I think Rodimus looks fine as is. The chrome might look neat but not "order from across the ocean" neat.

Defo. I was looking forward to having his pipes and engine chromed. Spoiler? Doesn't make sense. What are they gonna chrome on Jetfire? His head?!?!?!

I was also hoping it would be yellow, like the original.

A chrome spoiler is a bit too much chrome in one place. Mirage being an exception, imo, because he looks great.

They could have made his rims chrome, exhaust pipes chrome, and engine chrome. That would've looked better than the spoiler.

Chrome on the right places and a yellow spoiler would've done wonders for this mold.

As is stands though... No sale.

This sounds interesting. I actually like what the takara versions look like compared to the U.S. ones. I cant wait to see jetfire but I doubt they will change much on him. As for rodimus, He needs a yellow spoiler and A CHROME engine.

The Henkei out of this bunch I'm looking forward to the most is Ramjet. I dig the colors on the Classics version, but am crossing my fingers that this one'll have a brighter red on the wings.

Bah, the spoiler is the lamest thing to chrome. I was hoping they'd chrome the engine and the exhaust details. All I wanted for the spoiler was yellow instead of orange.
