Although the solicitation of these figures was previously announced, solicitations of upcoming Transformers Henkei and MP-07 Thundercracker with images have surfaced. Most of the images seem to be stock photos of Hasbro's upcoming Universe releases, but these solicitations do give the fans another look at the prototype for the Universe/Henkei Ratchet mold (Ironhide remold). Images can be seen by clicking on the images to the left.

The mere fact that the Classics/Universe line exists begs to differ with you. It may not be a BIG deal, but releasing Classics Ratchet would be like printing money for Hasbro. Printing small denominations, but money nonetheless...

Bear in mind that while the kids outnumber us "collectors" by a large margin, your average collector spends about ten times what is spent on each kid's collection.

Their thinking is, so long as there is a toy named X who looks like X on shelves, they should avoiding selling a toy that looks very similar and has the same name to:

B. Get people to buy whatever toy is out now first... then hopefully get them to buy the other similar looking toy later.

This logic is sound. I'm mainly arguing in favour of Classics Ratchet being released eventually... though hopefully sooner than later.

Arguably though, this mold does suit Trailbreaker better than Ratchet OR Ironhide.

I'm sure you guys have forgotten more than I've ever known about BotCon.

They said that they won't release characters that use the same name at the same time in two different lines.

But what does that mean? Will they wait a year? 2 years?

no, cause Ratchet won't be released in every single case assortment they said at BC that a repaint/remold of ironhide into ratchet was all but inevitable (universe)
