It's hideous, and a terrible resemblance to movie BB. The only aspect it has going for it is the black jetski. You lose the chrome that really distinguishes the Henkei figure from the Classics version, and replace the Hasbro white deco for a worse black one in alt mode.
Two thumbs way, way down for this one.

I am glad that I am not the only one who thinks that. I have my Classics BB and my 08 Concept BB so I am happy and will pass on this Exclusive.

Gah. I wasn't aware movie Bumlbebee had red headlights, and those stripes do NOT work on that mold. AT ALL.

Terrible. I've dutifully bought every version of every Classics figure so far, including all the Henkei versions, but this will be the figure to break my completist streak.
What a waste of a repaint. But then, I guess it's better to have an UNdesirable exclusive sometimes... takes off the pressure and expense of tracking it down.

I think it looks decent enough, I'm not going to hunt it down or anything, but if I got it for cheap (like $15), I'd bite.

Neat idea but the deco is a flop on this mold. I wouldn't mind seeing Stealth BB's deco on Classic Bee, for S&Gs.

I'll go out on a limb and say it doesn't look bad at all, though it's hardly imaginative as others say. However, movie-themed repaints of G1 and other lines seem as common for Takara currently as G1-themed repaints of movie toys were for Hasbro.

It does not say what sort of exclusive it is. It is weird that it says "限定版５００量", though. It is ５００個 in Japanese...where does this come from? Just wondering because it's a very strange mistake to make.

Well we had Cheetor from 1996 to 2001, then we had Hot Shot from 2002 to 2006.
Since they got the name Bumblebee back now they'll use it whenever they need a kid-friendly character who's yellow.
