The Starscream is indispensable, and that's actually a pretty decent price for the minicons given that Slingshot alone was selling on eBay for around 40-50 bucks. I was planning to skip them, but at that price, I'll bite.

Man, which makes it all the more tempting to try and track down a Dragoyell for completeness' sake.

I wish screamer had a few more clear parts, but I pre ordered his ass anyway.

I don't know about the Mini-Cons and Generations Vol. 2 book, but the Ghost Starscream hasn't.

starscream is a must buy, but i just ordered henkei thrust. ill have to wait a few weeks to have spending money. hope they dont sell out too soon.

I impulsively preordered it. Dam'it! I need to learn to control myself... I might not get it in the end. I like the mold, but 90 bucks... that makes MP08 look cheap...

Put it on pre-order because it WILL be gone fast and then you will regret it for eternity. You can always take it off pre-order later. They don't charge you until its in stock anyway.

Definitely buying this one. I preordered Book #1 with clear Mirage, I might as well get them all. I'm more interested in the book than the figure to be honest with you.

Well, such a deal is more impossible than rare. BBTS could have placed them at 80 or 100 bucks and they would have sold out anyway.

There's probably going to be some confusion out there due to a number of different books having different names. Here's the deal.

Several years back, the Transformers Generations book came out. It's a visual guide to every US, European, and Japanese TF from 1984 through the end of G2. It is simply the best Transformers reference book out there, from the standpoint of completeness and high quality pictures. Text is all Japanese. Several years later came Transformers Generations Deluxe, basically the same thing with a few extra pages of concept drawings & miscellaneous stuff.

Unrelated to these are the new books, also called Generations, but (based on what I see in the first volume) are not nearly as good. Instead of being chronological, things are listed all over the place... not every toy is pictured, and some (which just happen to be on shelves) are heavily over-featured. Seriously, I don't need five full pages on the Mickey Mouse Transformer. It feels more like a catalog than a reference book, but the pictures are still nice.

I guess their Japanese contacts might just have purchased LARGE quantities of these microns. IIRC, they will be manufatured only after being ordered, so a large incoming production run might explain the 3rd quarter release.
After BBTS Battle Unicorn, such a nice thing is more than welcome! Now, if BBTS would just put out Dragoyells for cheap...
