Our own Gaokaiser has found more great photos from Wonder Festival 2008, from RedBeetle and Toy-bu. In addition to more photos of upcoming Henkei Transformers, Marvel Transformers and the Encore Metroflex (inhabited in city mode by the just-released Encore Minibots), we also see some fantastic customs and Jizaitoys Wheelie and Powerglide! Thanks to TFW member GenZhao for bringing us clear images of the Classics Bumblebee from the upcoming Wal-mart Exclusive Bumblebee set. Along with Transformers: The Movie Concept Camaro Bumblebee and Transformers Animated Bumblebee, the set will contain a re-styled Classics Bee. The new styling shows the white stripes and accents replaced with black. More pics after the jump!
Kaiser of the HK-TF Forums has posted a scan of two upcoming figures from TakaraTomy, one of which was not previously revealed. On top of a sketch of the robot mode for Alternity GT-R Convoy that shows off the complexity of the robot mode, the scan also shows that a black Decepticon repaint of Henkei Hot Rodimus will be released. At this time, we do not have a translation of the text of the scan. Therefore, it is unknown is this repaint is an exclusive or any other details of that item. We will update this story once a translation is completed. Meanwhile, click on the image to the left for the full scan.
Update: Thanks to 2005 Boards members ChaoCatcher and Chaos Convoy, the name of the Hot Rodimus repaint is Stuntron Wildrider and will be a Chara Hobby 2008 exclusive for 3000 Yen.
After translating the Henkei Manga #3, 2005 Boards member Bête Noire has returned with an English translation of Henkei Manga #4 featuring Skyfire and Ramjet. The translated Manga can be seen by clicking on the image to the left or by clicking the Discuss button.

Bête Noire of our 2005 Boards has translated the tech specs from the three most recent Transformers Henkei (Japanese Classics) releases: C-05 Hot Rodimus, C-06 Skyfire, and D-04 Ramjet. The translated tech specs reveal intresting facts such as Hot Rodimus' weapon having a firing range of about 4 miles and Skyfire being able to travel half-way around the world in thirty minutes. Although the solicitation of these figures was previously announced, solicitations of upcoming Transformers Henkei and MP-07 Thundercracker with images have surfaced. Most of the images seem to be stock photos of Hasbro's upcoming Universe releases, but these solicitations do give the fans another look at the prototype for the Universe/Henkei Ratchet mold (Ironhide remold). TakaraTomy has placed their Transformers Henkei manga online. In the past, these manga have only been available with the figures. Both Volume 1 and Volume 2 of the Henki manga can be seen from the main Henkei manga page.
Fans Project's stand at TFCon Toronto has a nice selection of their upcoming products - as well as their Cliffjumper set (no more to be made as the mold is destroyed) the awesome Ultra Magnus City Commander was on display. A version in Diaclone Powered Convoy colours was also on display, but this is not an actual product - it was just something done for fun to see how it might look. Also on display were the next planned releases - Classics and Henkei gun mode Megatron accessories (very cool) as well as a Matrix for your Classics Prime. The engineering on this piece is incredible - Fans Project designed the handles to pivot so the front of the Matrix will always be able to face forward regardless of the pose you put your Optimus in with it!
Alternators fans were not left out either, with a Matrix and gun accessory combo shown on tablet PC - although there was no hardcopy there it looked very impressive, the rifle turns into a gas tank that attaches to the rear of the truck.
