Bot Shots

Next in their string of new product reveals, the official Transformers Facebook page has uploaded official images of the Bot Shots 2013 Three Packs Assortment, wave 2. This second wave is already out through Hasbro Toy Shop and was shown off at Toy Fair 2013, none the less, here are official images of the two sets, Sergeant Kup, Scourge and Blitzwing, and Optimus Prime, Cindersaur and Jazz. Those who collect Bot Shots may spot that Blitzwing is a reuse of the 2012 Decepticon Brawl in clear purple, Kup is a redeco of Spin Shot Ironhide, and Scourge is a redeco of his single packed release. In the other set, Optimus Prime is based on Transformers Cybertron Optimus Prime - a cool touch!

Hasbro has updated their Transformers website with listings for Bot Shots 2013 Wave 3 single packs! Wave 3 appears to be adding one more toy into the mix, back up to five toys per wave after a couple of four toy waves. This wave features:

Spin Shot Megatron
Flip Shot Twinstrike
Blitz Shot Inferno
Blitz Shot Autobot Hound
Flip Shot Skywarp - this assortment's chase "Super Bot" figure!

Of note is that the 2012 style Bot Shots are now being called "Blitz Shots". Inferno is a Sentinel Prime redeco, and Hound is a redeco of Ironhide. Check out the official images of them all attached to this story.

2005 Boards member Darkhawk79 has shared with us some more images of upcoming Bot Shots releases. This time out we have a look at the very cool Warpath Launcher set along with the next wave of three packs. The Warpath Launcher marks the first time we've seen Warpath as a Bot Shot, and he is an awesome little bot - his face is packed with character and attitude, complete with one eye larger than the other as if he is raising an eyebrow to say "did you just make me WHAM BAM! crash into that wall to make me transform?!"

The new assortment of three packs includes a few other cool new additions to the series - the first includes a redeco of the new Spin Shot Ironhide as Sergeant Kup along with Transformers Cybertron inspired Predacon Scourge and a Super Bot Blitzwing (redeco of the first Decepticon Brawl Bot Shot). The second set features a Transformers Cybertron homage Optimus Prime, a Super Bot Jazz, and all-new Predacon Cindersaur!

Have you been eagerly awaiting some new Bot Shots? Hasbro Toy Shop has started shipping out the latest assortment including the Autobot Air Force, so hopefully there will be some more bits of Bot Shot goodness at US retail very soon! Meanwhile 2005 Boards member Darkhawk79 has shared with us some in hand images of the Autobot Air Force five pack, which features Bot Shots based on the five Aerialbots! Check out the images, attached to this post.

2005 Boards member prime roller has shared with us a selection of images from a Taiwanese Transformers catalog. Among the sections in the catalog is an extensive Bot Shots section. Lots of new and upcoming releases are shown here including lots of ones we have not seen before. The scans include:

• Single packs releases including Twinstrike (Sinnertwin), Stormrazor, Skywarp (new mold), Inferno (Sentinel Prime redeco in yellow), Hound (Ironhide redeco in green) and an all-new Megatron!
• A clearer look at the Warpath launcher set.
• Confirmation of a Scourge launcher set, based on Transformers Cybertron's Cryo Scourge deco.
• New images of the Cliffjumper, Brawl & Dirt Boss (now renamed Breakdown?) and Bumblebee, Shockwave & Skyquake three packs.
• More images of the three pack consisting of Kup (Spin shot Ironhide redeco), Scourge and Blitzwing (2012 Brawl redeco)
• And to top it all off, a new three pack of Optimus Prime (Transformers Cybertron style), Cindersaur and a clear Super-Bot Jazz

The next assortment of four Bot Shots has also arrived at US retail! Bot Shots 2013 Wave 2 (or Series 2 Wave 2 to go by the on-packaging descriptions) consists of the Beast Hunters / Transformers Cybertron styled Optimus Prime, a single pack release of the new Flip Shot Decepticon Brawl from the movie series, Spin Shot Scourge, who is a rather Dinobot-looking Predacon, and the wave's Super Bot is a Jump Shot version of Cliffjumper.

Another pair of Bot Shots have been revealed through an update to the Hasbro Bot Shots page. The page now includes some information and bios on the first Predacon Bot Shots. Twinstrike (aka Sinnertwin) was among those on the Hasbro display at Toy Fair; we've got confirmation that it is indeed him from this update. This update also reveals that the Dinobot looking Predacon is in fact going to be named Scourge - he's already got a redeco coming in a three pack with Sergeant Kup and Blitzwing, too. Third of this trio of new Predacon Bot Shots reveals is Cindersaur - and to the best of our knowledge, he's new to us! No word on the assortments that these three are debuting in, but expect to potentially see them appearing from the next assortment onwards.

The next new bit of Transformers merchandise has hit US retail! The Bot Shots Dragon Track Battle Set, which features Bot Shots of Optimus Prime and Megatron along with track, launchers and a spinning "dragon pit" arena is the first of the Beast Hunters themed Bot Shots releases which were teased at Toy Fair 2013! This one was spotted at a Wal-Mart in CA.

Next up in this steady flow of new Transformers releases are the new 2013 assortment Bot Shot three packs. Bot Shots Three Packs 2013 Assortment Wave 1 features two sets, Bumblebee VS Shockwave and Skyquake and Cliffjumper VS Brawl and Dirt Boss. Both sets make use of the new Bot Shots "styles" such as Flip Shots and Jump Shots. These oens were spotted at Meijer in Toledo by 2005 Boards member Cleazer.

2005 Boards member deltagod, who we just reported having the first sighting of the new Cyberverse vehicle assortment, also reports finding the new assortment of Bot Shot launchers at the same Target in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. The new assortment of Bot Shot launchers features Generation One inspired Spin Shot Optimus Prime and Jump Shot Bumblebee figures.

Good news Bot Shots fans! The first wave of 2013's Bot Shots figures have been found at a Wal-mart in Washington state. 2005 Board member Archangelz was the lucky hunter that scored these new Bot Shots that feature new play patterns. Flip Shot Bumblebee, Spin Shot Ironhide, Jump shot Shockwave and Sunstorm make up the new wave.

Site sponsors Robot Kingdom have updated their listings for the Bot Shots 2013 Launcher Assortment and Dragon Track set with clear pictures of the toys in the packaging. This gives us our first look at the Bumblebee launcher set, which features a Jump Shot type Bumblebee (a redeco of the one from the three pack which also features Shockwave and Skyquake). There's a clearer look at the new Optimus Prime launcher set with its new mold "Spin Shot" Optimus Prime, and the Dragon Track set. The new images of the Dragon Track set confirm the second Bot Shot is a new mold of Megatron based on his Transformers Prime design and sporting a purple and orange Galvatron color scheme. The Dragon Track set also comes with approximately two feet of track to launch your Bot Shots down.

Site sponsors Robot Kingdom have put up another new Bot Shots listing, this time for a new launcher assortment. The first 2013 assortment of Bot Shots Launchers features Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, both are said to be Generation 1 themed. The Optimus Prime is a new mold, probably of the "Spin Shot" sub group judging by the way his arms are done. The Launchers are simplified compared to the 2012 assortment ones, but there seem to be more accessories with this set, as the picture suggests there will be little bowling pins or other accessories to launch your Bot Shots at included in the packaging.
