The Transformers Collector’s Club round out the first year of the Transformers Figure Subscription Service with Ultra Mammoth! Ultra Mammoth is a redeco of Beast Wars Neo Big Convoy, who was originally developed as a Japan only mold, and was later redecoed as the Transformers Universe Nemesis Prime. Ultra Mammoth though, as the name suggests, is a Beast Wars version of Ultra Magnus, and he looks the part with Ultra Magnus’ red white and blue deco.
Being a redeco of Big Convoy also means that Ultra Mammoth is exceedingly well armed, with flip out tonfa under his arms, a huge bazooka that is longer than Mammoth is tall, two missile launchers on the ankles and more missile pods molded into the shoulders. And given that this mold was originally a Beast Wars Ultra class toy, it’s reassuringly big. The deco is top-notch, and brings the character to life exceedingly well. And while yes the missiles on the leg panels are remolded, and therefore the launchers cannot conceal in beast mode while loaded, that’s a small point and one that is forgiveable enough, given how excellent everything else on this toy is. See for yourself, and check out our gallery:
Transformers Figure Subscription Service Ultra Mammoth GalleryOverall Ultra Mammoth is a great toy to round out what has been a promising first year for the Transformers Figure Subscription Service. Once the initial hiccups were resolved and the figures started to make it into the hands of fans, they proved to be some good and well thought out exclusive redecos. This fan very much looks forward to the promise of an even better second year.

If you're in the Collector's Club, he's $80 on the Club Store – https://www.toyarama.com/store/2012…ultra-mammoth-version-1-month-6-1-pc-p589.php

Amazing. I wish I had one. I would buy one if he wasn't going for around 100 on ebay

nice! I love this mold.

This is the only figure from the set that I didn't keep… I like it, he looks cool, I just don't feel I need this mold a 3rd time. I really love Big Convoy and he's great with my other Primes, and Nemesis Convoy hangs out with my Unicron minions, but this mold a 3rd time just doesn't work for me… maybe someday down the road I'll pick him up again, but doubtful.

Hmmm that Matrix is very nice, wish the whole figure had more shiny bits. Still, this mould can do no wrong and I find icy mammoth very appealing
Also I remembered my broken Skywarp thanks to the last image

Hah, nicely done! I was not aware of that, but as you say, it adds a bit more fun to this one.

Thanks to the thickening of the missiles they can now be used like handheld scythes like Nemesis Prime did in the Timelines comics. I don't know if UM has used them like that in the SG BW comics yet, but its an added bit of playability. BWTF has a pic showing them off as scythes instead of missiles.

Safety one assumes, the original missiles were rather hard-edged. Though these aren't Megatron's missiles either – the shape is different from those too. It's a new mold of the missile shape, unique to this mold I think.
Fun fact – a random piece of gold plastic fell off Grimlock during the taking of these pictures. It'd evidently broken a while ago, since it had been rattling inside the chest somewhere.
Naturally, scared the heck out of me! Fortunately my luck with gold plastic holds and Grimlock survived this shoot without crumbling into a pile of golden dust.

I love the group shot with Ultra Mammoth and the rest of SG Beast Wars.

So why did he get the wrong (Megatron's?) missiles again?
