Which is awesome because it's going to be a extreme surprise for the kids that saw this episode.

Gaah. The torrent is going so slow for me...

I missed the first 2 minutes or so, so I need to watch those.

Yep! That means we won't he see his bot mode or hear his voice until June or July according to the character list shown earlier this week.

Hey Split_Lip, did you catch who wrote this episode
Caine:
Same here, been going up and down around 3kbps to only as high as 19kbps, then free falling again.
UltraDevmodious:
rofl @ Blitzwing this ep.

"Never give up. Never surrender. Never mind."
D Banks:
they didnt show his robot mode. that sucks!
Silent_Magnus:
I was hoping he'd at least transform at the end after he drove past the autobot's base.
Like Grimlock did at the end of "Blast from the Past".

My theory on Blurr's arrival on earth.

He arrived on earth during the 50 years the main cast was in Stasic lock.
Although he might of crashed or something on impact. Then Master Disaster found him(sometime after the season 1 finale) and started controlling him with that controller.

At least that's what makes sense to me.

Not me.
AniProwl:
I wish they went the Blast From Past route where we could see him transform and talk at the end of episode

Yeah. All good things come to those who wait. Despite what people keep wanting to believe, this WASN'T Blurr's introductory episode.

I agree, this detinally isnt his main premiere, this was his cameo apearence
D Banks:
im glad we got to see bumblebee's turbo boosters again, Blitzwing was awesome in this episode. This is one of my favorite episodes so far
Fort Max:
Who is that masked mech!

Great episode, much better then Wreck Gar's one as far as I'm concerned. Nice to have some real mystery back in the show again as it's been pretty straightforward since Megatron's resurrection.

Blurr has a gorgeous car mode, absolutely sick. Whoever designed him and Jazz should quit and go work for a sports car firm.

I wasn't really upset that Blurr didn't show himself, as I said, I like the mystery. It seems to me that Blurr has been on Earth for a little while now. Whether he came with the elite guard and was left behind by Magnus as a guardian angel or has been there a long while remains to be seen.

I am curious to know whether Master Disaster was talking about Blurr or the controller when he said "it was the best day of my life when I found this thing". It seemed almost purposefully vague, I think he found the allspark infused controller and that it only works on Cybertronians, otherwise he could have made any of those competitors have horrible crashes to boost his ratings. So he has this controller and perhaps he just accepts that it only works on the blue car without really thinking about it.

This can explain Blurr's vicious behaviour during the races and why he doesn't show himself later, i.e. out of shame.

Or perhaps orders, or maybe it's just intentional misdirection to build him up as a cool mysterious bad ass character and then reveal him to be a complete nutjob later on.

Thanks to the guys in Canada for the torrent, you've really gotten the hang of this thing now.

Please don't. I don't like being lumped in with the rest of the contigent.
shroobmaster:
Also this episode has another awesome music, the Decepticon Theme Race Remix rocked.

Universe hates Wazzzzpinator.

Anyway Blurr could be so impressed with BB that would give BB a field commision as an elite guard, like the repaint.
Blitz Wing:
I forget which part of the episode it was, but did anybody notice when Master Disaster called someone a "Budinsky"? I think it was supposed to sound like some type of Aussie insult, or could it have been a reference to Bob Budinsky?

Also, I'm aware that I'm spelling that wrong.

Awesome Intel, I agree with you, The control I think only works on cybertronians. And I think he was talking about blurr when he said"it was the best day of my life when I found this thing" but i may be wrong it can go either way and make sense
D Banks:
blurr's toy is gonna rock, cant wait to see the figure itself
Nightrain:
I am disappointed he didn't transform, but the action sequences in this episode were tremendous. And the dialogue was terrific as usual. I loved it.

Budinsky is a common "insult". I say "insult" because it's more of a playful term than serious. I use it all the time.

I never said I wasn't. I said I'm not dissapointed that he never transformed. I'm curious as to what he looks like, but I'm in no hurry to see him on the T.V. mostly because I know that God-awful voice of his will be there.
Scourge:
Anti Spark:
I think he was left behind to monitor the Autobots.
Ravenxl7:
Just watched it. Very interesting episode. The Predacon-ish logo was a nice little nod to see. Blurr was pretty cool, though it would have been nice to see him transform into bot-mode at least once, like at the ending or something.
Acid Wing:
Another solid episode, though like some of you I wanted to at least see Blurr transform once. But, I have patience. I look forward to what he sounds like.
G1Wheeljack:
Awesome episode, Blitzwing was pure win, especially this line:
Angry Blitzwing:Never give up
Calm Blitzwing:Never surrender
Crazy Blitzwing:NEVER MIND!!!!
I also liked that the racing cars looked like the Stunticons(Master Disaster's truck being Motormaster)The only grievance I had was Blurr not transforming or speaking(I waited the entire episode for that, and it never happened!)

I second that. He's a secret agent sent by the Elite Guard to keep watch on Prime and his crew.

I love TFA but this episode bored me to tears. Driving. Shooting. That's about it. Snore.

Oh wait, don't forget about the moral lesson we all learned. Follow the rules, people. Illegal cable=bad. Yawn.
D Banks:
I hope that blurrs robot mode as just as cool as his car mode.
Repainted:
The second half of my Animated Double-Header today and as reasonable as the previous episode. I figured those human racer vehicles to be like the Stunticons but they didn't match up as well as all the other G1 Referrential material. Thought that Maximal looking symbol was cool. Bumblebee's turbo jets return and I liked how he had control of them. Poor Bulkhead tried to get the good message across but kept getting short changed. I liked the action sequence of Blitzwing trying to chase down Bumblebee, Sari, and Fanzone. Fanzone is still my favorite human in probably all of TF lore thus far. I think the illegal cable is their own jab at downloaders, but sending a good message couldn't be a bad thing. Overall, 2 new TF Animated eps for me and I don't think they did too bad. Let's do it again.
omega ranger:
I can't believe it about Blurr. I know he'll be awesome- but he really should have transformed or talked. And their going to have to come up with a good excuse and what not. Hopefully he'll be an Elite Guardman keeping tabs on Optimus and his crew undercover like everyone says. And since he's undercover, he can't talk or whatever to hide his identity. But then he ran into the races since well, he's Blurr! And got under Disaster's control. Hopefully something like that.

Looking forward to next week- Arise Constructicons!!!
hotspot17:
Great episode. But the whole time, I felt like I was watching T2, the movie. With the high cement wall ravine and explosions.
AniProwl:
I rank this episode a little lower than last week's. The only redeeming factors in this episode was the awesome animation especially BB vs Blitz and the chase and of course the real star of the episode: Blitzwing.

Next week: Two cons who we see in action and talk tough (unlike Blurr): The Constructicons
Torque:
hey, how sure are we that that even is Blurr? i mean, it almost definately is, but they never say it...
shroobmaster:
Same colors and same wheels as the teaser of his animation model, plus people that were at Botcon confirmed it.

I was kinda hoping for that too, but I appreciate them mixing it up a little. It was almost becoming a given that the last thirty seconds or so of an episode were for revelations, as in "whoops, he ain't really dead" or "I didn't know he could do that" or "Oh look something just showed up that will factor into a later episode."
Pravus Prime:
If I'm not mistaken, I think the other racers were all minicon car colorschemes/designs.

Not the best episode, but far from the worst.
Harbinger:
and on that subject was the presenters logo familiar to anyone? it seemed to be the blendtron symbol.

overall it was a good ep and yeah its a lead up to Blur showing up. mainly cos that controller only seemed to work on transformers.
Sky Shark:
I liked the episode, especially for the BB, Sari, Bulkhead interactions. They definitly have the comedy down in this series and I think its offical, Sari is my favorite human character now. I wish Blurr had talked though.
Takara_destron:
I was disappointed with Blurr not transforming but its not big deal as Im not much of a Blurr fan anyway. Blitzwing was fantastic as always and as for Sari, well shes great but Captain Fanzone is definatly my fave human character!
Fort Max:
On a second watch I find myself wondering how in the hell the Detroit police have thus far failed to find a big brightly painted semi with a huge satellite dish on top.
KA:
aw, we didnt even get to see blurr/s robot mode, what a gyp

cool sequence with bee outrunning blitz btw, i LOLd when the controller was used on blitz and bee
