Just to settle this, Blurr did not speak or transform, he did help BB and Sari but he seemed intent on keeping his identity a secret, most likely they're saving him for a big reveal later on.

This episode ROCKED. Not only was it some great BB and Bulkhead insight, but lessons were learned, battles were fought, and Blitzwing really shined. The control was an interesting plot device, but I think it was funny that it controlled both Blitzwing and BB.

Blitzwing is gigantic, by the way. I know all Decepticons are tall but murphy...


I'm glad they did this episode. It pertains to the plot but not directly. I like how they're incorporating Blurr into the series slowy instead of "Hey, look who's here". BB really stepped up in the end. By cutting off the pirated signle line he really showed sari that two wrongs don't make a right. Bulkhead taking extra steps to keep tabs on them was really interesting and added a lot to his character.

I knew Biltiz was giant since Megatron rising part 1 where he's standing next to Ratchet after he froze him. But how big is he next to Bulkhead I wonder. And how was Blurr's vehicle mode? Interesting that they're hiding his identity. And if he's an elite guard did Magnus order him there?

To answer your questions in order:

He's big next to Bulkhead. They're both bulky and have kibble but it's not as much of a contrast as say BW and BB standing next to eachother.

Blurr's vehicle mode is awesome. Totally sleek, fast and powerful looking. He even has the hollow rear wheels that become his feet.

I'm not sure if Magnus ordered him there. Maybe he came to Earth himself or Magnus descretly left him on Earth to keep an eye on Optimus Prime and his crew.

aww...so we don't get to see Blurr tranfomred or hear John Moschitta talk!? I don’t want to spend hours dling the show just to see what Blurrs alt mode looks like on screen.

Except it doesn't, it has great BB and Bulkhead moments not to mention the best of Blitzwing.

Frankly, I'm glad it's not an introductory episode but instead leads up to one in the future. the "Hey, look who's here! Love him and but his toy!" may work for Allspark characters like Wreck-Gar who can return, but for real transformers it's nice to just have them take their time while adding to the plot as they do.

He doesn't speak THIS EPISODE, dude. You're acting like he's never coming back or something.Just because he didn't speak TODAY, doesn't mean he's not going to speak TOMORROW.

We knew for a while he had no speaking role in this ep.

I meant I didn't know Blurr was going silent in his first appearance. Blurr= Silent? Impossible! What was the point of him showing up when he can't talk or transform at all. I might pass this episode unless Blitz really is awesome as you say he is.

Because OBVIOUSLY what makes a episode is the guest star!

Yeah, I know. It's supposed to build SUSPENSE. Make you want to know what's up with the car and hense, you watch the show more until it's finally revealed "OMG HE WAS ANOTHER ROBOT HE WAS SO SNEAKY!" and he starts to be this great character. (With John Moschita as his VA, he better be a good character to make up for that horrid voice)

And Blitzwing is awesome and so are BB and Bulkhead. (I'm surprised how relatively little of Sari there was, though. Like, she was there, but she kept to herself more than usual)

Just watched it now, video taped it while I was out but err it was an ok episode. Blurr never transforms, talks or anything. I was hoping that he'd transform mid-air when he rushed off the ramp and flew towards Blitzwing. The whole example things was ok with BB and Sari, I guess it might play into his development later if he becomes part of the Elite Guard as the repaint version of him seen at Botcon 08.

shame, blitzwing should have popped in a musile car and raced too.

Thanks Split_Lip! I'm guessing this portrayal of Blurr is calm and leet, though everything he does is still 'fast-forwarded'. One of the top agents in the Elite Guard, like Jazz.

It's going to be hilarious to see the quiet fast guy with the annoying voice.

I'm dreading Blurr's voice. I hated, not, despised G1 Blurr for his hideous voice. I can only hope they gave him pointers to either slow it down, make him actually talk fast instead of just repeat words over and over and sound like an idiot, or change the pitch of his voice so he doesn't sound... like an idiot.

I doubt it. They seem very hesitent to actually kill off characters.

the guy who did blurrs voice in g1 is actually really cool, but due to the rushed production they just ended up having him repeat phrases over and over rather than talking quickly, but making sense. the amount of stuff he can memorize and repeat without error is amazing. if you dont believe me check him out:

IMO one of the worst characters ever is that anime dude, Sky-Bite or something.

i know that guest stars dont make the character, but it just struck me as odd that he wouldnt talk, as he is voiced by a guy who talks fast-i found it odd, thats all.

He's going to have two talking episodes later anyway
