gonna take a little getting used to the overexaggerated 'flame' effect on Rod's helmet. I know it's always been there since G1, just never THAT noticable. Everything looks great so far, can't wait to get the issue.

Nope - Strika's based off the six-wheeled tank from Beast Machines.

You'll note that nearly all of those were things

As mentioned in the wiki, it's still yet to be confirmed the name of the character. Currently Hasbro has no choice but use Rodimus over the course of all incarnations with adding Prime only to seperate the leader based one. If this one is simply called "Rodimus", then he is Hot Rod.

Kinda hope they tone the purple down to a maroon like the original. Don't really think purple suits him but maroon is great!
