Ktulu:
Cool, but still wish they were hitting retail soon.
Fort Max:
Awesome-o!

Odd way for it to be packaged though, side on would have been expected.
jtuarus:
u beat me by like 2 mins cause i had to edit it well mods can combine or delete my thread in tfs on ebay. my main ? is how much will this puppy sell for im saying about 150$
Silent_Magnus:
Wow, that's not a very flattering position for him to be in the packaging,
But he still looks nice.

Edit:
Gravity Spin conversion?
is that like the next form of automorph?

Also another level 3 conversion.
Dirge121:
Whats Gravity-spin conversion?
Should've packaged him side on, so he'd look both taller and longer, and actually allow you to see the toy. Maybe the QC on the paint on the sides is gonna be bad, and this is to stop people searching for the least messy version

More than that I'll bet, this is not only it's eaby debut but it's finished and in packaging and it's more popular than the Cybertron Meatron.
I'd be very surprised if it fetched less then $200.

Abd gravity spin conversion could mean it's got some kind of auto morph activated by momentum, perhaps it's his legs. Maybe they fold down and round when the hips are dropped.

ya i was really being conservative on the guesstimation i actually think somewhere around 250-300 but we will see with the want for this its gonna be hot hot hot i already threw my hat in on it
hotspot17:
There's so much empty space in the box. Wish they either put more stuff in it or in a smaller box.
on_a_warpath:
I think the front portion of his truck mode looks kinda like cybertron prime.
General Magnus:
Wow. This Prime kicks amounts of arse. Itīs nice to see one that does not have a power up armor/trailer.
Jedah:
Man i cant wait for these to start hitting the shelves, this prime rocks, but as Fort said , it is a weird way to package him in the box.
Sso02V:
He looks so lonely in that big box.
Ravenxl7:
He looks pretty cool. He's the one Optimus Prime I plan on getting from this line. I personally think he would have been better off possitioned like Bulkhead, but he's going to be coming out of it one way or the other, so it doesn't really matter. And for all the empty space complaints, there are some Voyagers in this line that'll need more space while in alt-mode, and it's easier/cheaper for Hasbro to have all the figures at one price point in the same sized packaging. I messaged the person selling him asking if we could get some pictures of the sides of the box. I'm curious as to who will be the other 2 Voyagers in the "Also Available" part of the box.
Soundblaster1:
This Prime might be good enough to warrant a purchase.

I do think how it's packaged is really odd... Side-facing-front would have been better.
Sso02V:
I hope that whoever buys it takes many many pictures.
brawl569:
i got the prototype for him im defintly geting one when it comes out hes awsome i dont call my prototype optimus prime i call him powered up optimus prime
Anti Spark:
Nice! I can't wait to get this one!
Silent_Magnus:
Can anyone tell what the back of the box says?
Cataclizm1:
Hotness
Switchblade:
Wow, there is a lot of empty space in that package. Really seems like they didn't need that big of a box for him. It honestly seems kind of wasteful to me.
Soundout:
This toy is almost show accurate except for the big axe. So now I have to buy the 2-pack in order to get the show accurate axe that I like. Does anyone agree with me?
Runamuck:
Wow, a lot of wasted/empty space in that box. I am still not sure if I like these toys enough to get this.

hehe, exactly what I just said.

It's almost like they stuck a slightly-larger-than-deluxe toy in a voyager box, and officially called it a voyager to get the $20 price tag. Heh...
SmokescreenGT:
This is definitely my prefered version of Animated Prime. But, I'll wait for it to hit retail. Not going to pay that much for a voyager.
seeker311:
Isnt the box kind of too big? It looks as though youre getting less, Plus wouldnt they save on cost by making the box a little smaller.

It would cost them more because then they'd have to make different boxes.

I think it's pretty self-explanatory. Some parts of the toy are so loose that you only need to hold it up for them to fall into place during the transformation thanks to the wonderful effect of gravity. Remember not to hold the toy upside-down or you're scuppered. You heard it here first, folks.
LightningZERO:
It's not the box too big

It's the Prime too small
Fort Max:
Toys that look big in the boxes usually do so because they have large extraneous parts like wings.
Silent_Magnus:
I'm sure he'll stand around the same hight as Megs, Starscream and Lockdown(lockdown might be taller).

It's the same issue with Classics Optimus.

This same thing happened back with Classics. Prime looked really smal in the package, but it's only because he compacts down when he transforms into his alt-mode. He'll have a nice big bot-mode, that's just right for the Voyager size class. From what we've seen, Lugnut is almost the opposite. Having what looks to be a really bit alt-mode, but having a normal Voyager sized bot-mode. Bulkhead is the only odd one out, he seems to have small alt and bot modes, but he still has enough plastic content to count as a Voyager sized figure.
Fort Max:
Bulkhead's only problem is his legs, if he'd been designed with standard length legs then no one would be complaining that he's too small.

They would however be complaining that he's top heavy.
Glitch:
Remember, voyager status means not only size, but also additional features and level of transformation. Don't judge this guy solely on your first impression of what it looks like boxed.

The comparison between this and the "classics" Prime is a good one - smaller vehicle, larger robot mode. However, I will admit that the "top down" packaging doesn't help.

.
Aaron:
Must... not... bid...
Kimmer:
once again hasbro screws the mib collector and i hate these deformed looking boxes. why can't they just use trays like the hasbro or tfc reissues did and get rid of twisty ties forever?
Autovolt 127:
That's looks awesome.

Definte BUY!

The seller has all of the unreleasee Movie Toys aswell.

Backpack:
Top down? What the hell?
Peaugh:
Do want, but I can wait a couple of weeks for them to start showing up loose for 99 cents.
Anti Spark:
It's probably been answered already, I just can't find the answer.

Is this the same scale as the battle damage 2 Pack?
General Tekno:
Hopefully this means it won't be long before we start seeing some good loose pics.
TriBlurr:
^The battle damage 2 pack version is deluxe sized. s

Anyway...looks great......wish we could see who the co-sells are.
Kaijumaster:
apparently Hasbro decided to put him in the biggest box they could find at the ugliest angle possible.
ThomasMaximus2:
he has a spatula!

That may be, but Classics Prime's "spatula" is better.
agentgro420:
nice toy in a way too big box... i'll buy it when it comes out anyway( to my gf's disappointment).

Yeah, pretty much my reaction as well. It's really inexcusable.

That said, I'm totally buying it of course.

agreed, the boxes are too big and ungainly, takara usually has nice boxes, think BW and energon.
