| Transformers Animated Season 3 will have more guest voices, and larger role for one returning guest |
| Posted on 12-16-2008 at 05:09 PM by Sol Fury | | Derrick Wyatt has posted an interesting hint at what might be in store for Transformers Animated season 3 on his blog, A Delightful Tedium. There he states that in addition to having more guest voice actors in season 3, there will be a larger role for one of the former guest actors (such as Susan Blu, who in addition to her role as voice director did a guest voice as Arcee, pictured left). In fact, Derrick states their role is so large this season they are practically a regular! Who could it be? Lance Henrikson as Lockdown, Fred Willard as Swindle, John Moschitta as Blurr or even Weird Al as Wreck-Gar? Speculate away on our 2005 Boards!

I assume it's Jazz, Blurr or Wreckgar. I sorta consider Lockdown and Sentinel to already be "regulars."
My money is on Wreckgar. But I hope it's Jazz.

I'd love for it to be Blurr, as he meshed well with the cast at the end of S2. It'll probably be Arcee though....

I hope to see more of the Dinobots, Soundwave, Arcee, Lockdown, Blurr, Wreck Gar, Swindle, and anyone else I missed.
But my money`s on it been Lockdown, Blurr, or Arcee.

While I would like to see more of Arcee I dont know that I would consider Susan Blu to be a true 'Guest' VA since she is the Voice Editor for the entire series the way DJW puts it across its someone that didnt work regularly on the show which she did just not as a VA.

It's most likely a autobot in my opinion I can see it being Arcee, Blurr, Sentinal Prime or Jazz being a regular. If its a cons could really only see it being Blackarachnia, but i dought this simply because her character gives her off as working alone and characters like her are only good as guests.

I'm going w/ Arcee - both due to being a "fan favorite" - and yes, I am quite aware of how she (or any femme) polarizes the fanbase. But in addition - it makes sense. Susan Blu's done Arcee as well as several other characters over the years (in addition, I believe she voiced Marissa Fairborne in G1 S3), and she's already on-set/contact.
Character-wise - I wouldn't be more adverse to more Lockdown or Jazz.

Hoping for Wreck-Gar or Arcee- With Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime announced, I guess Arcee makes the most sense, but I just like Wreck-Gar a lot and would love to see more of him.

As a season regular, though -- I hope and believe it's Arcee. Go fembots.

I'd like to see more of Arcee or Jazz, but to be honest I'd just like to see more Animated. I only have 3 of the Animated toys (BA, Prowl & Soundwave) but I'd buy Arcee in a heartbeat.
